Is this a choice anyone is really given? Someone comes up to a person and says "Die standing up or live on your knees?" Life doesn't work that way bud.

mudmarine - Your "rifle leads the way". You meet all challenges with violence? Are you stationed in Iraq? If so, you're endangering your fellow soldiers.

if you mean that metaphorical, i would say yes. i always try to be honest and i never allow someone to change my mind, other than by cunning argument...

being confronted with that choice literally though, i guess i would bend my knee, and bide my time, trying to bring about that time when i can stand up again. as long as there is life, there is hope... and dead heros cant fight another day.
and things of that nature generally.....
