In addition to being 9 trillion dollars in debt, and financially bankrupt, have Amercans become morally bankrupt too?
I find it very shameful, when our President says that we would rather fight the terroists in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of America. What gives us the right to tear apart somebody else's streets in a vain effort to solve our own problems? How would we like it if the Russians tried to fight their terrorists on the streets of New York or LA. I am amazed that so many Americans buy that line, and nobody has told that idiot to shut up.

I would like my boyfriend to visit me for Christmas. He is from Argentina and has visited the country before on a tourist visa... but I'm not sure if they changed the procedures or the difficulty of getting a visa after 9/11 and all the recent influx of immigrants. He would just be coming for about a month.

When I wake up from a good night's drinking tomorrow, will Republicans here see sense and finally proclaim that Bush and his administration have done nothing but harm to the United States. Even Colin Powell now accepts this as fact.

Why do you think the News are referring to those who oppose Bush's Terror Act as a Rebellion or a Revolt? Is this another one of the "You're either with us, or against us" deal?

Bush said he could not send thousands of troops into Pakistan to search (for OBL) without an invitation from the government. "Pakistan's a sovereign nation," Bush said.

Yet, we sent thousands of troops into Afghanistan to find him. Weren't they a sovereign nation also. Wasn't Iraq a sovereign nation?

On the other hand, Bush defies the U.N and invades Iraq, then has this to say about Sudan, where atrocities as bad and worse than those that were taking place in Iraq occur daily.

"What you'll hear is, well, the government of Sudan must invite the United Nations in for us to act. Well, there are other alternatives, like passing a resolution saying, we're coming in with a U.N.

Why wait for the UN? We invaded Iraq to liberate the Iraqi people, why not do the same for the people of Sudan? Oil? Revenge for daddy? Please explain.

that this administration is considering what effect this will have on our current soldiers (men/women)? To allow our use of torture means that in the future, our own soldiers will be subject to these currently ILLEGAL practices, and we will have no recourse. Water torture will be allowed, death, death, will be allowed in certain circumstances, OUR soldiers can be wisked away to an unknown location and held WITHOUT CHARGES indefinitely. Without the aid of the Red Cross or any other int'l agency.

Pro or Con? Where do you stand?
