In addition to being 9 trillion dollars in debt, and financially bankrupt, have Amercans become morally bankrupt too?
I find it very shameful, when our President says that we would rather fight the terroists in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of America. What gives us the right to tear apart somebody else's streets in a vain effort to solve our own problems? How would we like it if the Russians tried to fight their terrorists on the streets of New York or LA. I am amazed that so many Americans buy that line, and nobody has told that idiot to shut up.

To elaborate on what you said:
There were no terrorists in Iraq until we went there... now we have transformed Iraq into a terrorist haven with terrorist coming from all over to fight us there.
So Bush is saying that he is glad we are fighting them there instead of here. He is missing the fact that we brought them there and turned that country into complete chaos.
For Bush to make such a statement like that, is just inexcusable!!!
How does that man claim to be Christian??? I do NOT understand.

Shameful indeed. I'd love to tell him to his face to shut up. If afforded the chance, I'd probably shut up, for fear I'd be whisked away, and never heard from again. I can't imagine what torture I'd have to suffer. A concerned citizen of the United States of America.
I don't buy anything the current President says. Nor any of his cronies. I know they will change the story, if the one told right now is found to be false.

America isn't morally bankrupt. There are a lot of us that are disappointed and embarrassed at the behavior of our government. America isn't morally bankrupt, but our President and that 30-something percent of people who still have faith him are.
