I have been in a 5 year relationship with a girl from New Zealand in which we have lived together for 4 years. She is able to move to Australia without too much trouble but can I? HELP PLEASE!!

I've heard from one of my aussi mates that NZ and OZ have an agreement between the two countries to live and work, a bit like the EU. But even if your girlfriend is allowed to live in OZ as a result of this agreement, this wouldn't apply to you. She is your girlfriend, and therefore in the eyes of the law, there is no relationship between you two. If you were married to her on the other hand, then the High Commision in London would grant you a residence permit to live and work in OZ.

.......No. The law has been tightened up in Australia over the last few years to stop Kiwi's moving to Oz without skills to gain employment. You would however be able to move to NZ (De Facto). Alternatively, contact the NZ or Oz Embassies based in London. Good luck.

that all depends on whether you are a NZ citizen or not...are you living in NZ yourself? or are you living in another country?? if you are a NZ citizen you can pretty much go to Australia no problems, due to the trade and political agreements between Australia and NZ...however if you are living outside of Australia and NZ OR a resident of another country then you need to contact your nearest Australian consulate for more information
