You can go to the police station 24/7... they'll arrest you no matter what time of day. However you have a better chance of being processed quickly if you doing it during business hours. If there has already been a warrant issued then you must technically be arrested, processed, then they will let you pay your bail and go about your business. But its a much better idea to turn yourself in before they find you.... the later is much more painful.

Well....
If you turn yourself in, the government will take your money before giving you a chance to pay your own bail.
If you tell a friend to bail you out - then I would wait until Monday morning (try not to break the law over the weekend) and turn myself in to the sheriff. If your court hearing is later in the day, the judge might release you on recognizance without having to put up bail. If you have bail, then your friend can post bail with your own money.

I had this happen once. A warrant was issued for a missed court date that I knew nothing about. I went right to the police station and paid the bail then was sent a new court date. Needless to say, I didn't miss that one!

In Texas you pay warrants at the Justice Center (the county jail). Call your local police station and ask them where you go. They don't arrest you for coming in to pay a warrant.

You can go to police station anytime you want, but not to resolve this. Go to clerk of the Court that issued warrant.

Depending on what county you got the ticket in, you may be able to pay your ticket online. Do a search for the court in your county and check it out.

Keep a low profile and wait till Monday morning. They probably won't start looking for you too soon. Just take care of it first thing Monday morning.
