They've already proved through th ecourt that they have no regard for the safety of others.. so would it not be more appropriate (acknowledging that ban periods are finite and not total) for an offender to be allowed wheels back for the purpose of making his route to work acceptable but only allowed th emost basic of power bands to drive. Ths would also be perfectly feasible for sales reps as even a 1,000cc car will make it to 70mph after only a few more seconds than a 2.3litre car would.
I cant see how a drink driver could argue that this condition was unreasonable?.

Aside from voting (and campaign funds), what is the most effective way to communicate with Congress? Is it a written letter, an e-mail, a fax, a phone call, a personal visit, or something else?

And is it better to contact your own congresspeople even though they're not on a committee related to what you're concerned about?

Finally, is it a better idea to just send one letter (or e-mail or fax, etc.) or to "bombard" them with letters AND e-mails AND faxes, etc.? I would assume the latter, but I want to hear your opinion.

I live in Va and i have a neighbor that is constantly harassing my family when I away. Even sometimes when i return he or his wife is calling my house or trying to tell my kids where they can and can't play. As i've spoken to him about this in the pass the sidewalk is consider public property. Because i goes infront of his house (the neigbhor hood has a one side sidewalk that goes completely around the lake on the Left side) this does not allow him to control who can and cannot play on this portion of the sidewalk. I've really feed up with this type of constant harrassment from him and his family. They are trying to be trolls of the neighborhood. I have not had a problem with any of the neighbors around me just this one. I've tried to be reasonable and keep my kids from playing in or around his area, but this has gotten out of hand. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

My apartment complex is horrible. Here's a little background: I've been living here for almost a year, and in that time everything's broke at least once. Most recently my refridgerator went out (TWICE)...and I lost about $40 worth of food...which may not sound like a lot, but I'm really really struggling w/money right now. I asked them to reimburse me...but they refused. My rent is due by the 5th, and it states in my lease that you have until the 12th to pay (w/a 10% fee) before they turn you over to collections. Again, I'm struggling with money right now...so on the 12th i dropped off my money order (w/the 10% fee)...I was told that I had to have it in BY the 12th---meaning 5:00pm on the 11th!!! SO...I quickly went home & double checked my lease.

That's when I noticed, that it states I owe $750/month. However, I pay $765/month (because I was told there's a $15 fee for my cat). It does not state the $765/Month ANYWHERE in my lease...is this legal? Is there anything I can do...??

I always thought a US president could only serve 2 terms in office (ie 2 terms of 4 years) but i beleve Franklin D Roosevelt was elected for 4 terms?
So how many terms can a US president serve then? Am I right with 2 (which would mean rules have changed since Roosevelt's time) or can you serve more?

Specifically, the ones who were saying that it was full of lies? Did any of you actually watch it? Because I did, and I didn't see anything glaringly wrong with it.

It is true that Clinton treated terrorism and al Qaeda as a law enforcement problem, and he was overly concerned with the legality of taking bin Laden out. And Madeline Albright DID warn the Pakis that we were launching cruise missiles over their territory, which probably tipped him off.

Since 1997 this government promulgated the highest number of laws, employed the highest number of police, put the highest number of people in prison, yet the number of serious crime increases on daily basis. I just can't find any sensible answer to this ironic state of affairs in the country. Is it because Britain has the highest number of criminals in Europe or the laws do not work or the prison system is only a commercial venture with a revolving door or this government is only a toothless bulldog trying to look tough on crime. Perhaps it is because English law is like a cobweb catching little flies while the dangerous wasps get free, in other words, the wrong people are sent to prison while the real criminals run the street.

Every question about George Bush I see has about a million answers from a million stupid people. Well...more ignorant, I suppose. Some of them give really long, in-depth answers, which mostly come around to saying "Bush has an accent I don't like, so that makes him stupid, and he happens to be waging a war against the same person as his father, so he's just trying to make his dad look good." Seriously, EVERYTHING Bush-haters say is speculation, and it all comes down to the fact that someone had to do something about Sept. 11th, and no matter what, stupid liberals would hate the person who did because it would mean taking action, and upsetting someone, somewhere in the world, and that's not right.

USA troops were looking for a band of Taliban fighters. Soldiers were watching live video from a drone. The drone found the band of about 50 Taliban fighters. They were standing packed together in rows. The USA soldiers were very excited, knowing the drone was carrying 2 missles they showed the video to their superiors. It was determined that the group of Taliban fighters were gathered for a funeral for one of there fallen fighters. The order was given to NOT fire on them.

I can understand how some people would say this is the right action for our military to take. But, if I were a soldier in that war and saw that this is the way my superiors were handling these situations, I would be AWOL.

Just interested in what other people think about this policy.

not long ago Bush announced , that legal status would be granted to those who were fighting in Iraq and were not legal ressidents of the USA . their families will also be included .

does anyone knows how many people are we talking about ???

and why is it that the militar contributions of undocumented immigrants are usually forgotten ( i am talking about the immigrants as a whole ) but whenever someone who is not legal does something bad everyone jumps up and says "ohhh God those ilegals are terrible "

note: when i say everyone i do not mean everyone but mostly xenophobics and racists .
