Interesting thought...and I don't think you are too far off base...bullies do indeed cause terror to their victims, but in a different sense. Emotional terror should not be underestimated and bullies do get violent/threaten violence. I never got bullied in school myself, I was always the "tallest" girl...so that helped, but I was gentle and always tried to make people laugh. Bullies should be reported to the appropriate authority, but that rarely helps the situation. If you know someone going through this, just let them know that the problem is not with THEM, but with the bully--who has self-esteem that is so low, that the only way they can build themselves up, is to tear others down...tell them to feel sorry for them, because bullies usually don't amount to too much in life.

Never thought of it that way but you may have a good point there. It's very unfortunately that this situation happens so often. My heart breaks when I hear about someone taking their own life because of being bullied. I truly wish I had a solution for this problem. I can only hope that the kids that are being bullied will realize how very valuable they are to their friends and family and not allow bullies to destroy their lives.

no they are not terrorists.
However they do inflict terror in those that they bully.
it is not just in America but all over the world, that this happens.
Its not until everyone who knows what is going on and See's this happening but also the victims as well who must join forces make a united front and say this is unacceptable.
when this happens the few that are bullying can not stand against a whole school or college

If only kids knew to stand up to them.

I had a guy bully me throughout my sixth grade year and about half of my seventh grade year. I walked the long way home everyday, If I wasn't running. He had a gang of thugs and he had me scared for over a year. One day after lunch in 7th grade I noticed him and his henchmen coming at me from all directions. As opposed to running I stood there and let him come to me. I was scared to death but I ended up whipping is ***. For good measure once the PE instructor broke us up, I sucker punched him one last time. He never messed with me again.

All you have to do is stand up to them, they only pick on people they think are weak.

No they are just misguided people with no parents who have parenting skills and should be reported to the office of higher education such as the police because it is now considered assault and abuse and they can end up in the clink for it!

Terrorism means creating terror. If a kid is driven to suicide, I would say he's been terrorized.
