I stay in Virginia, & My parents are okay with it just as long as he stays in my life for the baby. Can he still get in trouble? & Will emancipating myself make any difference if he could still get in trouble? Also, will the doctors report him if he's in the delivery room when I have the baby?

I am. Were our lives so dull before, and now like the rubber neckers at an accident scene, we stop to gawk at the carnage? Maybe our interest in the matter really centers around our hatred and distrust of government? Now, there seems to be plenty of evidence of wrong doing where ever you look.
Maybe this event just brought out our latent desires to kill our enemies, to engage in a holy war. Does it remind us that we are Americans, that we are superior to everyone else?

Myself, I doubt that we are interested in this story just because we feel so badly for the victims of 9-11.

So the question is, are you sick and tired of it and just want your lives back like it was before 9-11, or do you feel like you were born again on that day and now your life has a new meaning that was missing before?

I recall many US Albanians going to Kosovo to fight the Serbs back in the late 1990's. Could they legally return to the US? Because I thought that such a law was passed many years ago to prevent the Irish from joining the IRA, fighting and then returning to the US.

actully my msn account got hacked.i just reset my password with the help of msn tech support.but in my account i found his personal info like alternate e-mail address that he changed. so i think i can find him from that. but according to law can i call police to get him arrested. i dnt want this problem in future and i want to kick his *** so he cant do it again.

Ironically USA is one the countries that spawn human rights practices, but seems to be lagging behind in practicing them. Like having female leaders UK has a Queen and margaret thatcher, Germany now has Chancellor Merkel, Phillipines has Arroyo, Iran had Benazir Bhutto, Indonesia had Megawati, India had Indira Gandhi... the list goes on....( although Gondalezza Rice and Hillary are close but no cigar )

I read a letter to the editor defending President Bush's stance on Iraq. What upset me was, it was word-for-word copied from gop.com's form letters. I know these sites want their letters to be published, but shouldn't people publish their own work? I am thinking of writing a letter to the editor requesting only original letters. Am I overreacting? Is it okay to use form letters?

we signed a contract in june for the contractor to remodel our bathrooms, kitchen and install hardwood floors in bedroom. the total was 12 grand..for labor..we were supposed to pay 6 grand upfront and the two grand once each of he project was finished. well he finished the hardwood and bathrooms (the bathroom has small stuff remaining though) and he hasnt done anything with kitchen. we have paid him 10 grand..for two weeks he hasnt picked up the calls or come to work. he has done this before and we are fed up..he said its supposed to be over in a month, its been almost 3 months. he has taken 3.5 grand more than he's supposed to have (compared to work done) what do we do??

I know that conservative republicans like to run around yelling about liberals have no back bone but I for one love destroying and dominating other countries and I lean towards the left on most issues. I feel that the current government officials with their scores of deferments are the real cowards. They are afraid to confront North Korea, Iran or Pakistan. The only thing we have sured up in the past seven years are oil contracts.
