Basically, we are voting for someone who vote for issues for us. That is where the corruption. Why can't the general public vote for tax increase, cut spending and all the detail. I mean, as general public, we should voice our vote. Everytime we vote, it is just a vote, because policticans abuse their power. I really wish they could set up all the minor items like property tax increase, cut spending in the voting booth instead just of a person...

Look at the judicial system, minior or civil case, the Judge can decide who is wrong. However, when it comes to criminal case, they pick 12 common people to do the jury duty. Why? I mean if general public can decide who is guilty or not, (they won't bother to hire professionals or like vote a professionals to do the judge) can we general public just decide the increase of taxes or cut spending???

p.s. Major issue like WAR doesn't count, but at least in a local government level, small people should be able to voice.

Before you jump the gun and say that he's a racist, let's analyze his comments. Is it because of his observations? Who else agree with him with his perception of Cubans and Puerto Ricans? Before you answer, let me give you this example: Who is more likely to react aggressively towards a hostile situation? Whites, Blacks, Asians, Puerto Ricans, Chinese, Japanese, etc?

many people tell me that why is it that illegals come to this country illegaly the answere to that is bcuz they cant come to the US legally its almost impossible for a mexican to fly here from mexico if a mexican has a passport he can fly all over the world exept the united stated so they have to take risks they know that crossing the border is ******* dangerous but they still do it why becuz its human nature to look for a better place to live no matter the risks just like the british did and came to look for a better place. maybe in the future americans could need help what if there is a desaster and america needs the help of mexico by evacuating to the south its just common sence the nature of a human being is to fight for their dreams and the only way for that is to look for a place where they can make a life.. if its so hard picking up fruit in the fields and they still do it just imagine how hard can it be in mexico where they dont want to be just think about it

Canada has a lot of land, a small population, and has lenient immigration laws, compared to the U.S. anyways. Also, they have a great healthcare system there and the education system there isn't bad. It may sound very controversial, but do you think the U.S. should make some kind of illegal immigrant shipping lane from Mexico to Canada, by sea, land, or even air, through the U.S., with added U.S. security to any such shipping lanes? Or, do you think the U.S. should unload illegal immigrants into Canada and one of its (Canadian) immigration adjustment programs as they have? It might possibly relief the illegal immigration estimated statistics for the U.S. and might help Canada grow larger as well.

Everyone always points to the "world doesn't like the US, doesn't like George Bush... WHO CARES! The world is weak (ie. the UN, France, Italy) The world wants to live in the USA. Who cares about stupid college kids ranting that they don't like our president, when it is us that have not been attacked, and it is them that are continuing to get killed.

Should white-collar criminals and corporations involved in crimes be banned from giving campaign donations, donations to political parties, and from forming PACs and voter education groups?

Like when you commit a felony, you aren't allowed to vote anymore.

Would these issues have to be confined to corruption relating to bribes or other campaign/policy issues, or like your being banned from voting for committing a felony, should it apply to any corporate crime?
