Because people who have no argument, resort to name calling and mud flinging. They have the mentality of a kindergartner.

There are two aspects of government. Internal and external. Sovereignty covers both. Internal sovereignty means that the government should have full control to implement its policy inside the country. External sovereignty implies that the government should be free on any external control.
Above mentioned definition is true for many states. But for a super-state like US it is not good enough. In the case of US its government is not only free from external control, it rather dominates many other states. You can see the paradox here that the president of US is elected by American people only yet he rules the world. In such a case there is a clash of national and international interests.
What I am trying to convey here is that US should pursue its national interests but it should also consider international public opinion where it is mediating an international issue.

Because when you say one thing is better then another with nothing to support that statement, and especially when you say one thing is so much better it deserves to rule over the other you are being prejudiced. Many people equate prejudice with racism, hence calling it racist when they mean prejudice.
In the case of the USA, there is nothing that gives the country the right to claim sovereignty (while some may be using the term to indicate the USA is a government free from outside control the word also has serious connotations concerning ruler ship. I.e. sovereign of a country is that country's leader, not by election usually, but by birth or takeover see definitions below for more info) because no matter which definition you use that claim is false. The USA is anything but a government free from outside control, and it certainly isn't a country with a monarchy.
Definitions of sovereignty on the Web:
government free from external control
reign: royal authority; the dominion of a monarch
the authority of a state to govern another state
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
Sovereignty is the exclusive right to exercise supreme authority over a geographic region, group of people, or oneself. Sovereignty over a nation is generally vested in a government or other political agency, though there are cases where it is held by an individual. A monarch who rules a sovereign country can also be referred to as the sovereign of that country. ...
Also note that our own Declaration Of independence guarantees us the right to "Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit Of Happiness”. When we claim sovereignty we are denying those same rights to others: and that makes us hypocrites.

Well, some people use racial insults to try to make their point rather than arguing rationally. If you are calm and reasonable, there is no reason for anyone to call you a racist. But if you talk like a racist, someone will notice and call you that. It helps to avoid emotionally charged terms like "wet back" or "sppic" and also to avoid exaggerations such as "real Americans are starving because these people break the law." Keep it calm and rational and you should not be called names.

because more often than not .. their concerns are based on bogus information and scapegoating their problems onto someone else, while at the same time having no real grasp and understanding of the actual problems in this country ... its like worrying about fixing a broken window when the roof has been blown off of ur house ... fix the fricken roof first at least and dont blame the goddam window for the roof leak.
