Canada has a lot of land, a small population, and has lenient immigration laws, compared to the U.S. anyways. Also, they have a great healthcare system there and the education system there isn't bad. It may sound very controversial, but do you think the U.S. should make some kind of illegal immigrant shipping lane from Mexico to Canada, by sea, land, or even air, through the U.S., with added U.S. security to any such shipping lanes? Or, do you think the U.S. should unload illegal immigrants into Canada and one of its (Canadian) immigration adjustment programs as they have? It might possibly relief the illegal immigration estimated statistics for the U.S. and might help Canada grow larger as well.

Also, if you're American, would you possibly consider spending some of your own tax money in financially supporting something such as this, to help the U.S. relief itself of more illegal immigration?

Actually, illegals DO go to Canada. AND just like in the US,they don't come to stay, they simply come to work, send money home and then go back to come back again next year and do it all over again.

First thing is any law is illegal to human freedom of existence. But we have an organized form of social living. Therefore, we have laws, regulations and other social structures existing everywhere time immemorial. Laws were made not to punish but to protect. But if protecting means punishing then allow it sometimes, taking then existing various social factors in to consideration. Poverty and disparity among human beings is the main factor for immigration apart from another major factor- opportunity (happens with elite social group and well educated). Therefore, if nations must stop illegal immigration they should immediately step in to eradicating poverty. The poverty and disparities should be stopped and checked at the local levels at different nations. If this is done vast levels of both legal and illegal immigrations can be stopped. Every human being thinks he or she has the right to access all the natural resources aplenty on planet earth. That is basically the devil of all other evils. We do not have the right to anything on mother earth. But still we can leverage ourselves with a little freedom to live in and co-exist with mother nature. Major portion of the human race are an unenlightened masses however, they may be well educated. Therefore, they follow their heart, they follow their feelings and emotions, they follow their own limited intelligence and apply it to the rest of the social thinking they can do at best. In such case they would never know what is legal or illegal or what is right and wrong. It is said, "Survival of the fittest was a past thing." But somewhere some how such a thing still exists. Therefore, each one wants to be fit enough by hook or by crook.

No. We should ship the illegals back to where they came from. I don't believe in dropping my problems off on my neighbor.

Dirk Diggler- Built on immigrants, not comprised of immigrants. Most people here now are native Americans. How many generations back must my family tree go before I am considered a native of the land I was born? By your logic, everyone is immigrants everywhere.....

why in the world would Canadians want illegals? Just because of land mass and a social medical system( which americans think is soooo great) why give a country a set of problems that even this country cannot handle. Canada does not want illegals now or ever. I am a Canadian liviing abroad LEGALLY, and would not welcome the problems of aliens you think you can shove over on us Canadians.

Canada has some kind of law stating that if there is a Canadian applying for a job and is as qualified as any non-Canadian, they would get the job.

I wish the US would adopt this law.

proboblaly because canadians arent closet racists.

people here are anti immigration for all the wrong reasons. most simply dislike mexicans, usually when asked why theyre anti immigration (legal or illegal) they spew out things like education or taxes or they cant find jobs or something like that. never or rarely do they say that theyre simply anti immigration because the illegal immigrants are breaking the law.

usually the law breaking part comes in last.

alot of americans (white americans) are racist when it comes to mexicans...illegal or not. its just the reality of the situation. they see them as poor, dirty, uneducated and worthles....
