Il be graduated High School soon and I decided a few years ago I didnt want to go to college, I have the grades but I cant see myself in school for another 4 years after High School..

Iv always known iv wanted to go into the Military and iv talked to a group of army officer at my school and he helped me relize what exactly what I wanted to do within the Military, but he didnt have alot of knowledge on the MOS..

I was jw what the requirments are for this MOS (88K), the training for it, the availability, and the enlistment job bonus?

It wasnt a recruitment officer..It was my ex girlfriends brother that just got back from Iraq like 3 weeks ago

The person who first replied is a moron, sure a recruiter might not know EVERY SINGLE JOB IN THE ARMY.. theres like 130+..

can you recite 130+ specific jobs off the top of your head.. i doubt it. I'd doubt you could do half as many as a recruiter. The point is, you go to the recruiter,and say, well this is what i wanna do,and he will GET YOU the information.

But on actual answering part... If you go to MEPS where you actually enlist, they may not have this job available. don't get suckered and sweet talked in if this is what you WANT TO DO..

just say, no thanks, ill come back at a later time and then see if they have the job open then. Don't get stuck in a job you won't like doing.

If the recruitment officer didn't have a great deal of knowledge to answer your questions, then maybe you might want to seriously consider holding off on joining the military...or at least look into another branch instead of the Army. Good luck with your future.
