It was observed that the Jews went to their death submissively and why was it they didn't react? Could this sort of submission be possible again? Granted, at first they didn't suspect anything, but wouldn't word get back via underground sources and if it did, why didn't they react? Why did the world let it go on as long as it did? And while we're on it, why did it take so long for the Berlin Wall to come down?

Black people fought a long battle for civil rights in this country, so why is that people are fleeing Mexico for a better life instead of fighting the government there for better jobs and wages, etc?

Okay, so I feel I wrongly got issued an MIP. I had already left a party and was about to get into my car when three officers drove up to my friend and I and asked us our ages. We are both twenty, so we told them and then they began to give us the little sobriety test. I had not been drinking and she drank a little. As one cop was talking to my friend, the other cop got into my car and began looking around (which I don't think was legal). He then did the test on me and said I was fine. Well, I got issued an MIP anyway because there was an empty bottle behind my car that someone had left there and I moved it.

If I contest this, do you think I will win???

Because it isn't about human rights at all. There is no human right to help yourself to the wealth of your neighbor. This nation is wealthy because the citizens of this nation have built a system that is conducive to the creation of wealth.

The illegals, and the citizens of Mexico who actully do have the national pride to remain in their country, have every right, however, to change their system to make it more friendly toward wealth creation. That means the rule of law, an independent judiciary, an end to corruption, respect for individual rights, a strong system of property rights, and express limits on government power. Until they realize that, and implement those elements of good government, they will remain poor. They have so right, however, to take from others what they are not willing to make for themselves.

at one time. If this is a conflict of epic proportions like WWII shouldn't we have a draft? If this is truly a struggle between good and evil and for the survival of our country, shouldn't every resource be mobilized? The facts belie the rhetoric of this administration. Our current military is much smaller than the one I fought in during the Vietnam War. We are asking a very few to do what a much larger force would struggle with, so why not have a draft? The answer of course is that it would be political suicide. This is not WWII or even Vietnam.

Imposters are not uncommon here. We are used to that but I have an online stalker who goes to my 360 page and posts some of the things I write on this forum. Other times this person makes up lies and posts pornographic links and disturbing links about abortion, because they know that I am very much against it. This is really strange to me. I have never had anyone stalk me or harrass me in this manner. It's not that it upsets me but it's really weird. I think this person is seriously mentally unstable. What would you guys do?

The National Labor Relations Board has said that Indian tribes must allow unionization under federal law on their sovereign territory.

However, the tribes, including the San Manuel Indian Reservation which has taken the fight to court, are saying that they are sovereign governments and are capable of handling their own labor issues.

What do you think?

Hi,

one of my siblings went on a tourist visa to the US
and stayed there and is now living legally there.

another sibling has a great job here and has extensively travelled abroad before for tourism, and the real "intention" was to return after a 2-week visit:
the US embassy didn't give visa saying that "you'll probably do as your sibling, stay in the U.S. when you arrive"

how to convince a consular officer that if one member of the family went to US and overstayed the visit,
other family members aren't likely to do the same?

trained five million man army, airforce and navy? Am I missing something? At least in Vietnam we fought against a large organized military(4th largest in the world at one time). In Iraq we are pitting tanks, jets, artillery and a well trained mechanized military force against a motley crew of insurgents who only have small arms and IEDs. This is not Nazi Germany revisited. To make this claim shows how desperate the president has become to justify this misadventure.
