The "axis of evil", "weapons of mass destructions" and "war on terror", some say this is propaganda, but the three statements above were all made with the real worry of nuclear weapons in mind and the United States being attacked by these weapons of mass destruction no matter how small or large.

We now have open proof of North Korea having nuclear weapons in the form of guided missiles, are these false statements when the proof is in every western new paper, now I ask you, the reference above Bush made, would you say false or true, was Bush right about all 3 of the tags he used during a speech to the nation.

My car was broke, and I had to carry many groceries from the store to my home; while I was carrying the groceries by foot toward my home, this officer came up and gave me a ride to my home. (I rode on police car)
I am planning to send the officer a letter of appreciation, but fear a possibility of punishments on the officer by the officer's boss or higher authorities; since the officer gave me the ride by police car while on duty.

If you are working in police department, would you tell me whether I should send the letter to the officer or not? I would like to thank but do not want to bother the officer.

Thank you for your time and suggestions!

Is it time for the democrats to rethink and re-posture the strategy they are using, some professions do very well making up lies and standing by them, as an example take a lawyer trying to sue someone for a few million dollars, its all about the Benjamin’s, not the truth, the problem with politician lying to the public at large is people are the judge and when they go to the voting booth the verdict will be read, we all remember the wagging finger of Bill Clinton, it didn’t go over very well with the public over all or course Al Gore paid the price, I mean sure there are some people willing to stand and go down with a lying politician.

Overall I think most people would prefer defend facts, solid facts, such as when the World Trade Center was destroyed with over 50,000 people occupying them, thank god that more did not die that day, this is why I stand firm a supporter of the republican party, they have the solid truth on their side, my question is how can the democrats expect votes

Question: What do you think of Mexico, as a country not a government, on a whole?

My thoughts:
"According to the World Bank, Mexico ranks 13th in the world in regard to GDP and has the fourth largest per capita income in Latin America just after Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica, and it is firmly established as an upper middle-income country."

Many of the people who are coming here illegally are not really representing the best of their country. They are representing the worst. The people who live in the rural and poverty-stricken areas.

Just because somebody lives in Mexico, it doesn't mean they are poor and uneducated. 92% of the population can read and write and .3% of the population has HIV/AIDS. The average life expectancy is 75 (source: https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/mx.html#People) From what I've gathered, the people who are here illegally are the ones who are in need of the most help. However, the population of Mexico, as a whole, doesn't seem to be AS bad.

who's against amnesty and for tighter border security and tougher penalties for illegal immigration to march tomorrow in response to the Demonstrations tomorrow, or are you too scared? Will you go out to protest to fight what you believe in or will stay behind the computer and type about how pissed of you are about the current illegal immigration situation?

I ask this not because I am trying to draw some equivalency between the institution of slavery and migrant farm workers.

But I hear frequently from the apologists from illegal immigration that we benefit from cheap labor. That justification is fraught with many ethical problems. First, by maintaining the status quo, it only ensures that the problems with Mexico's economy will remain and become more entrenched. I wonder who is willing to justify the continued economic and political poverty of the average Mexican in Mexico by saving a few cents on their bell peppers.

Another difficulty is this: by keeping a ready and available supply of cheap labor, it stifles innovation and advances in technology. Some on here have pointed out that the agriculture business would go bankrupt. Well, what happened after slavery was abolished? They lost the supply of cheap labor then, but the industry adapted. In fact, the inventor of the internal combustion engine started out building machines

As I look around and see the anti-war crowd go stupid wild with propaganda hate messages in reference to our commander in chief, if we look at simple facts prior to our current President, the problem in Iraq and the rest of the world, there is nothing new, these problems have been around a lot longer than the current President, if you read our current history you can pin a lot of the blame on Bill Clinton for his inability to deal with world terrorist crisis, you go back even further to the Sr Bush, he should have gone to Iraq back during the golf war.

Going back to the original question are the Anti-War Democrats out of line with all the false statements being made against President Bush, true some even may border on a hint of truth, but most are quarter statements with a lot of propaganda added.

The Natzis prior to WWII during a serious inflationary period where money of Germany became worthless began to direct people's hostilities and angers towards different groups of people whom they blamed for all the problems rather than addressing the underlying problems as F.D. Rosevelt did in the U.S. during that same period of time. Why have the student visas not been tightened up on but all this money been spent to supposedly secure the Mexican border?
