It was observed that the Jews went to their death submissively and why was it they didn't react? Could this sort of submission be possible again? Granted, at first they didn't suspect anything, but wouldn't word get back via underground sources and if it did, why didn't they react? Why did the world let it go on as long as it did? And while we're on it, why did it take so long for the Berlin Wall to come down?

Governments, do ( or don't do !) what they believe it is in their (so called) national interest.
As has been said here, some countries tried to do something about it, while others laughed, and declared, "it is not our problem !"
The Jews did not know , what was happening, there was no satellite TV, or the Internet those days, getting news was a rare luxury !
Could it happen again ?
It is happening again, just how many Iraqi's and Afghan and Kuwaiti's have died in past 20 Years ( not to mention Iranians ), and with almost full approval of western populations ! and support.
Just how many "Insurgents" are there on the planets ? haven't we killed them all ? what breeds "terrorism" ? what breeds "Insurgencies" ? Just how many of these terrorists , do we need to kill ?
Could the Nazis as they did put it " rid the world of Jewish ..... ! " ?
Looking back at history, were the Nazi's right ? after all, they portrayed Jews as scum of the earth, and most Germans believed them at the time ( some still do ! ) ,
That is the power of "brain washing propaganda machines" when fused with " human stupidity" .
It seems , not much has changed, we still have same mass murderers, same PR machines, and we are still same stupid humans !

The world did EXCEPT for the USA, the great democracies declared war on Hitler. The UK, France. Australia, Canada.
The USA passed a law forbidding any American citizen to fight the Nazis.
The Jews didn't know they were going to their deaths , they were being rehoused in Polish rural areas out of Germany.
Get back how? to who?
The Warsaw ghetto rose up against the Nazis and were slaughtered. What do you use brinks against tanks? shoot with what? feed your army with what?
The world didn't let it go on Britain's cities were alight and burning tens of thousand of Britain's died fighting the Nazis while Americans partied, France was occupied and enslaved and the free french forces did fight..
If you were an east German what would you do? take a sledge hammer to the wall you would have been shot. Read about how Starlin fried to cut off west Berlin and was saved by the allies air lift

Most people are submissive when a gun is pointed at them.
Also remember, the entire continent was at war. And denial by the population is a very powerful tool in the hands of any totalitarian regime.

Certainly, it does happen again! But as Hitler's PR (propaganda)- machine, Bush's does well again, he can kill as many Iraqis as he likes, with stupid statement's (WMD) and nobody cares. In addition the media is very well censored,compare overseas media and CNN and AUS media, you will see huge difference! Ask your self why is media like Reuters not getting any Visas for Iraq?
