A number of years ago I read an article about a police department which was planning on using "net-guns" as part of plans to use "the least amout of force necessary" to catch a "perpetrator". What if any advancements have been made in this neck of the woods? On a separate but related issue: Why we have not been 'outfitting' police officers with tranquilzers for quite sometime now, is beyond me....

This quote is from President Bush in a speech in Salt Lake City last week.

Does this mean the we in the U.S. should listen to his advice, stop funding nuclear weapons, and devote that money to our transportation and education system?

I can't understand why when we capture a terrorist
we keep him alive with a life sentence this is not justice
this people they deserve a death penalty but old style
by electric chair BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
our judicial system said all Americans they have to pay
money in order to guarantee a life sentence to this criminal..
this is justice?
If I am wrong please tell me where because I can't understand that.

The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Roosevelt authorized the interception of all communications traffic into and out of the United States. In addition to the wiretapping of communications, in February 1942 President Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, which ordered the removal of roughly 110,000 persons of Japanese descent, the overwhelming majority of which were American citizens, from the west coast to internment camps. Despite the lack of evidence to necessitate the need for the executive order, and despite the fact that these were mostly loyal, law-abiding citizens, the government viewed those with Japanese ancestry as potential spies.

All this baloney about Israel murdering people. In the middle east, only muslims murder people. Muslims were the allies of the Nazis in world war II and they want to finish the job Hitler started someday. And all leftists seem to gullibly swallow islamic/terrorist propaganda about Israel.

Remember this leftists: advocating peace at any price is just what muslim radicals (which is 99% of muslims) want to hear. They will keep upping their demands until you are no longer willing to give in. And do remember, what muslims want is not good for the people. Muslims want a theocracy where opposing the word of paedophile Muhammad will be a crime.

Despite the rosy economic news, workers have been completely excluded from the recent prosperity gains, even though they're largely responsible for causing them. The truth is, as corporate profits surged, wages for the vast majority of Americans stagnated or declined.

Wages and salaries now constitute only 45 percent of the country's economy, a historic low. An additional 1.3 million Americans became uninsured last year as health-care costs continued to escalate at rates three times greater than wage growth.

Republicans call this GOOD news?
