Have you seen the Army times out right now? One of those pictured was my neighbor at Bragg. What do you think about the article? Should the families be doing what they are doing?
The one I knew - his wife was one of the troublemaker wives that get everyone in trouble....

Why are you upset about my troublemaker wives comment? What I meant by my comment was that she was one of those that got her husband in trouble with the command - acted like she owned the rank. Within a week of his death - she bought a fancy car and a house. Maybe that is how she dealt with her loss - but I can't see myself running out and buying anything like that for a long time.

And not her necessarily being a trouble maker for wanting to know about this. I'm not sure how I feel about this situation. If there was a gun battle does it really matter which side the bullet came from?

My understanding is not just that there was friendly fire, but that that information was withheld from the families, who were not told how their soldiers had died and were given quite a run around--which, if that is the case, is grotesque. I haven't read this particular article, though, because I don't get the Army Times often.
As I said, if these families were not given the truth about their loved ones, then that is completely reprehensible. I think the families should be angry about that.
I am also upset by your characterization of "troublemaker wives." I have personally had enough of the wives who pass the year their husbands are in a war zone by shopping around for new cars and saying "Ooh, where'd you get that skirt?" I could do with a little honesty--with all the fear, anger, and "trouble" that entails.

Aint aware of the article you are talking about but friendly fire is just part of war. When you have people firing back and forth sooner or later a bullet is going to hit the wrong guy. Hopefully the family sees it as a mistake and just that...

this is a stressful selection. in case you have already performed a deployment, you're ok so a techniques as advertising. Doing Drill time will help that still. yet another attention is what you desire after military existence. Being a Drill opens up intense college ROTC jobs. Are there any former drills on your unit which you will pass discuss with and ask their opinion?
