Amnesty International has said that there is evidence that Israel's attacks on civilian infrastructure during the recent war in Lebanon constitute war crimes.


The London-based organisation said that the unlawful destruction of homes, bridges and roads as well as water and fuel storage plants, was a key part of Israel's strategy in Lebanon, in a report issued on Wednesday morning.



"Israel's assertion that the attacks on the infrastructure were lawful is manifestly wrong. Many of the violations identified in our report are war crimes, including indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks," Kate Gilmore, executive deputy secretary-general of Amnesty International

Jesse Jackson visited Ned Lamont's headquarters last week to congratulate him on winning the Democratic nomination over Joe Lieberman. Earlier this year Jesse Jackson also visited Premier Chavez of Venezuela, aka: the dictator/opposition silencer of Venezuela and declared him and his country to be, "NO threat to the region. This proclamation after Chavez earlier visited Iran and urged that country to, "Finish off the US empire, and likened the Israelis to Hitler. My question, just HUH?

Ok, before anyone calls me crazy hear my story. I was serving in the Army from1999-2003, in 2002 we were in New York to reinlist at ground zero, and to train West Point cadets. One of my sergeants says his wife saw on CNN that the U.S was sending war ships to the middle east in the beggining of an invasion. That night my platoon and I went to a nightclub in New York, and I got so drunk that I leaked info about the invasion. The next day someone threw me a New York newspaper that said "Leak of Iraq Invasion Causes Stock Market to Crash"..........If this was true we didn't invade until 2003, meaning Saddam could have hid his WMD in plenty of time from 2002-2003. I have had death threats and everything else, anyone else think it's true?

Seriously, if we had a squad for lack of a better word that went around and targeted the really bad criminals and just took them out....gang bangers, rapist, child molesters, murders etc. The punishment for others like robbers would be to take all they possesed, for physical abusers like wife beaters...beat them up and so on and so forth...don't you feel this would cut down significantly on crime? Just a thought....
