Amnesty International has said that there is evidence that Israel's attacks on civilian infrastructure during the recent war in Lebanon constitute war crimes.
The London-based organisation said that the unlawful destruction of homes, bridges and roads as well as water and fuel storage plants, was a key part of Israel's strategy in Lebanon, in a report issued on Wednesday morning.
"Israel's assertion that the attacks on the infrastructure were lawful is manifestly wrong. Many of the violations identified in our report are war crimes, including indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks," Kate Gilmore, executive deputy secretary-general of Amnesty International

In my opinion,The war 34 days between Hezbollah and Israel are destructive and I heard the news that Hezbollah used human shield to park their rockets and Israel did damage the Lebanon infrastructure and I saw the Israel intended to destroy and did unlawful destruction. Israel broke International law and sadly the Nations around the globe said nothing and right now the Wealthy Europe Nations do not want to help.France andOthers talked about Peace keeper troops and no one moving yet.The Hezbollah are paying for the damage as well as 240 million from the U.S. It is the price that U.S. tried to test water with Iran and The U.S. used Israel as a tool while Iran ganged up with Syria used Hezbollah to do their job.The people of Lebanon who lived one side got bomb while the Christian Lebanon did not get bomb.It is a mess and I have no ideas how many people lost their homes and no place to go like the refugees.Hopefully Red Cross and others came to rescue.

You can also say that The USA is guilty of some War Crimes in Iraq as well.
Israel is just defending itself against Terrorism just like The USA claims they are also doing!

I agree with LeAnne. Where's the Amensty report on Hezbollah. Surely if they think launching Katyushas at innocent civilians in Israel is ok, then they have no credibility.

hmm... Hezbollah fighters hide inside peoples homes....so instead of using Israeli soldiers to clear the homes and possibly lose their lives doing so they call up a bulldozer to tear the house down with the fighters still inside. I thick it's a great tactic. Seen it done once or twice :)

no one is excusing hezbollah, what they are saying is that Isreals blind war path (which olmert is answering to from his peers) with no tact and strategy has not done anything but kill civilians.
They could have acted more intelligently; but what do you truly expect from people who deny Jesus, persecuted, killed and humiliated other Prophets and Messengers, and lost favor with Allah(God).
