As a citizen of the planet Earth I should have the freedom to roam this entire planet and experience it's glory. Governments put up borders to cage us. They then tell you that the people next to you hate you and we all believe it. The US even micro manage that to State to State, City to City, Town to Town, School to School, Football team to Football team and on and on. I guess the human species WANTS to be controlled because sadly, it is this way throughout the world. Any hate you have towards any other race or place has been fed to you through brainwashing. It is all an illusion. Can the human race ever walk it's own planet freely?

It seems clear that single leaders can run rampant and destroy millions, if not billions of lives. Why do we allow single men to run our destinies? It seems to be culturally-based insanity. Instead, shouldn't we have a group of Executives or Leadership Council, of men and women? It could be an odd number, say 7, 9 or 11, to prevent indecision, with rules to make quick decisions (like, flipping a coin or using a dog to vote in case one member is not available)!

There are about 400 recognized terrorist groups in the world. Over 90 percent of these are Islamist groups. Over 90 percent of the current world fighting involves Islamist terror movements. The vast majority of world terrorism is religiously motivated by Islam. This involves terrorist acts in 26 countries worldwide. These people cannot be reasoned with. Their hatred is an anathema to all rational consideration. They have but one goal: to subdue the world under the rule of Islam.

And the rest of the "good" muslims sit silently in agreement, filling the coffers of the martyr charities that pay families for their murdering gifts to the world.

Sorry muslim apologists, the proverbial veil is off, and there is nothing you can say or do short of finally going through a reformation and/or enlightment (even if it is 400 years late) that is going to convince us otherwise.

Your ad hominem attacks that I am hate filled or a bigot don't intimidate me. I'm not theone killing innocents.

Is there a way for a person to contact a US interest office abroad - Embassy, Consulate etc... to tip them off of a potential threat?
I tried to warn about Air Egypt pilots and other crew that did nothing but drink from evening till morning repeatedly in the hotel I stayed in a few times in Tokyo - a fatal crash occurred in India late on a day that I repeatedly tried to alert somebody (one of the crew's that had partied next door to my room - I asked them in the morning where they were headed - they all perished when they hit a Russian transporter on the ground).
A year or two later one of their 'party crews' flew into the Atlantic off New York - a crash that is yet to be fully explained.

On Monday i go to court to be sentenced. And the minimal sentence is 1 year in state prison and the max is 15 years. My lawyer says i will probley not get more then 5. Other then this time I have never been arested or been to jail. I have been on house arested since i plead guilty so i do not know what to expect. What will prison be like. Please give me any tips or a idea of what it will be like. I really want to go into this kind of knowing what to expect. I am told in the state jail you spend about 15-20 hours in your cell and the cells are 8x10. What will this be like? The crime was Grand Theft Auto.

george orwell's 1984 was amazing. do you guys think that the totalitarian government in the novel 1984 is pretty similar to the US government?
-goldstein = osama bin laden (ie. the common enemy that can never be caught)
-the ministry of peace = national security council
-being constantly at war with another nation
-"victory gin," "victory mansion" = the thought of the government that is implemented on the US citizen saying that every thing they do, every war they are fighting in, they are winning (war in Iraq being effective)
-"thought police" = FBI, CIA
-growing seeds of fear amongst civilians making it seem that there is a major threat and that only the government can help them
-"double think" = the "we want peace" thought yet the "let's dismantle terrorists" thought
-"telescreens" = american press (well less of the spying part, but the US government probably has some other body to do the deed)
-"proles" = people living in the country side and slums
-brainwashed civilians!

With minimal loss of life, what would you do to end the war on terror?

2006-08-22 17:29:06 · 13 answers · asked by ? 2 in Government

Why? Because neocons give America what they call 'rational irrationality'. This is the kind of benefit of the doubt you give to someone who looks a little crazy. You might step aside and let them pass because you just never know what they might do.

This policy is what caused Libya to reform after years of being a pain in the butt. They were concerned that Bush just might 'do it'.

Sure neocons are blamed for failed wars in Afghanistan and Iraq but would anyone really let Afghanistan go unpunished after 9/11?...and who knows what Iraq had cooking...remember all those UN nuclear inspectors who were refused access to facilities? If everything was on the up and up, why didn't Saddam permit the inspections? In 1990, Saddam hid his air force in Iran. There are reports that this time around he hid his WMDs in Syria.

Lastly, what is the alternative to striking Iran? An Iran with nukes?...led by a guy so Anti-American?

So thank a neocon for keeping you safe.

Every time the terror alert levels go up -- or arrests are made like in England -- President Bush's approval ratings move up, even if temporarily. Are we to expect more terror alerts and warnings leading up to the fall elections, like we saw in 2004?
