Every time the terror alert levels go up -- or arrests are made like in England -- President Bush's approval ratings move up, even if temporarily. Are we to expect more terror alerts and warnings leading up to the fall elections, like we saw in 2004?

The worlds a tough place today unfortunately. Unfortunately, we have a lot of extremist here at home in the republican party. They think we should just take out anybody. They are either rich or gun owners or just dumb. A lot of poor dumb republicans, can't figure out that the Republicans don't care about them.

Anyway, we will have more terror alerts but it won't help the republican party in the upcoming elections or in the presidential elections 2yrs from now.

Be prepared to be continually lied to over the next 2yrs just like the last 6. Hopefully at that point, the whole world won't be against us.

By the way, I support the troops and appreciate them. I hope they complete their duty and get back home safe and the government takes care of them long term, not forget about them 5yrs down the road when we need to cut benefits to give rich people more tax cuts.

You know I realize liberals have a hard time with history and learning from it; but I would think the train bombings in Spain just a few days ahead of their elections which helped the anti war candidate win might be something you guys on the left could remember and learn by? My guess is while you worry about approval ratings he, GW, is praying that American Intelligence agencies catch anything they may be plotting before the election. Because the one thing he can hang his (GW) hat on is that since 9/11 we have not been hit - and maybe - just maybe an ounce of credit could go his way for that. If you could get past your bitter hate that is.

Do you have a problem with terror alerts? Or tornado warnings? Or hurricane warnings? Or would you like to stick your head in the sand until there's another Pearl Harbor?

Are you trying to further your political agenda by claiming that the terror alerts are lies?

Maybe you'd like President Bush to cut and run as Clintoon or Ferry (that's not a typo) would. What would you like to tell us in your last moments as the subway car burns around you, because you coward libs chased us out of the war and let the towelheads run amok in America?

You are an idiot...

That's what they are banking on. They always claim that they had a role in the arrest or it wouldn't have been made without them in power, all lies.
