There are about 400 recognized terrorist groups in the world. Over 90 percent of these are Islamist groups. Over 90 percent of the current world fighting involves Islamist terror movements. The vast majority of world terrorism is religiously motivated by Islam. This involves terrorist acts in 26 countries worldwide. These people cannot be reasoned with. Their hatred is an anathema to all rational consideration. They have but one goal: to subdue the world under the rule of Islam.

And the rest of the "good" muslims sit silently in agreement, filling the coffers of the martyr charities that pay families for their murdering gifts to the world.

Sorry muslim apologists, the proverbial veil is off, and there is nothing you can say or do short of finally going through a reformation and/or enlightment (even if it is 400 years late) that is going to convince us otherwise.

Your ad hominem attacks that I am hate filled or a bigot don't intimidate me. I'm not theone killing innocents.

I can see why you would say that, and my reply is not to convince you otherwise, just to show you a different point of view. Judging by how you worded your question, I kinda get you wont listen to anything other than what you belive. Anyways...

Islam only tells you to take up arms when you have no other choice (when you are oppressed, have injustices done against you, cannot practice your religion without persecution). You give us that ball park figure of 90% of terrorist groups being Muslims. Fine. But do you ask yourself why these people do what they do and who they are?

Surely blowing up onself cannot be that fun. If your condition is that bad, that you think that ending your life by taking that of a few others is the better choice, **** HAS hit the fan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sympathizing with people who carry out such inhumane acts, but i'm simply pointing out to why they do it.

Islam doesn't tell them to do it, islam preaches tolerance, all you have to do is read the Quran to understand that. Its the Israelis who tempt the Palestinians, the Americans who tempt the Iraqis (and many others for that matter), the Indians who tempt the Kashmiris and the Russians who tempt the Chechenians.

Again, I do not agree with some of their tactics, but neither do I agree that the oppressors have the right to whine about what happens to them. Stop the atrocities, and the violence will stop. That said, I also believe that there are "Muslims" that think by whatever twisted logic it is they choose to believe in that it is ok to kill people of aforementioned countries. These people are those that are fed up of everything and find ways of justifying their actions through Islam.

"Good" Muslims do not sit quietly. Its the media that does not cover what these good muslims do because their peaceful actions aren't half as spicy as hearing "a Moslem Aay-rab blew himself in central Tel Aviv today" on the 8 o'clock news. And more simply, it goes against the agenda of the israeli dominated media of portraying a negative image of Islam.

There are over a billion Muslims in the world. If Islam preached terror, you wouldn't be here to accuse that it did.

Oh and by the way, One Man's Terrorist is another Man's Freedom Fighter ...kinda like the person in your display pic.

What spawns from a faith is not always good.
Those who claim their acts are righteous are usually the first to be proven wrong.

Islam is not the enemy, though I would not place any confidence in religions. Humanity is it's own enemy. We war with ourselves and use whatever excuse that sounds best to justify it. Their is little justice in our world today, just people looking to blur the lines of right and wrong.

Don't add to the hate mongering. You are better than that. We are better than that. Peace does not come at the end of a sword. Mankind has proven this time and again. Why would you think you can bring peace by bringing war to those who differ from you? You would be surprised to learn how many on either side have similar beliefs and values yet they think they must fight.

Build, do not destroy.
Praise, do not criticize.
Accept, do not condemn.

Mankind will always be flawed. However every time we rise above our imperfections and practice a little humanity; Show a little more tolerance; we move closer to perfection.

Don't give up on mankind.

If you push a man to the wall, he will defend himself will all that he's got. You may have forgotten the fact that Muslims are the most descriminated people on earth. Muslim Arabs have all the oil in the world but some people would do anything to control that oil.
Islam believes in freewill. Unlike some religions, Muslims don't have popes or any leader bossing them around. So, although only a handfull of Muslims are engaged in the so-called "acts of terrorism," no one really can stop them because they do so as an act of self defense.
ISLAM IS STILL A RELIGION OF PEACE. It is NOT a myth. All Muslims still believe in JIHAD as the Holy War. Holy war does NOT mean battle. It means a WAR AGAINST THE EVIL WITHIN OURSELVES.

let us use your numbers (which i dont think are accurate, but we will use them anyways), and let us also assume that each of those 360 Islamic terrorist groups has 10,000 members (which we can both agree is a vast overestimate). so that gives us a total of 3.6 million Islamic terrorists.

Approximately 25% of the world is Muslim. I repeat, 25% of the world is Muslim. that is approximately 1.5 BILLION muslims on the planet known as earth. this is probably a little low, but we will go with it. so, assuming your numbers are correct, 0.2% (or 1 in 500) of muslims are terrorists. thus, I feel pretty confident in saying that AT LEAST 99% of Islam is a peaceful religion

No more than I believe Christianity is a 'religion of peace' Not one Iraqi was involved with 9/11. Sixty -Six percent of the worlds population is Muslim, they also have vast wealth, how many attacked us? All other religions make up the reminder, and most of them are Hindu. Do others have a choice of whom to support?

And yes, we have and are killing innocents by the thousands. As Americans we are expected to support troops and our Constitution , not an Administration on the brink of creating a modern holocaust

Your correct. What people do not understand is: Yes all religions have killed at one time or another. Many of us have grown past that and learned a greater understanding. The difference is for example the Bible does not anywhere say for believers to kill people who will not convert. Nor do Buddhist, Taoists, Mormons, Jehovah's, Jews and the majority of religions on Earth today. Islam however does. I have read the Koran and the other writings available and have seen the truth. Read for yourselves. Power comes through education.

I as anyone would hope we could all live peacefully and not have a religion forced on me I will never be able to accept. Maybe Non-Islamics should strap bombs on and return the kind peaceful treatment we have been dealt. (Speaking hypothetically) Of course most civilized people see that as an act of cowardice sneaking up on other humans and blowing them and yourself up.

I agree with you.
Muslims have started almost all of the current conflicts in the past 20 + years.
However to be fair, in the past, in the "growing" times of both the Christian and Jewish faiths they did similiar things. In Biblical times the Jews did a lot of warfare and in the medieval times and at the start of the "new world" Christians engaged in a lot of bloodshed too.
Both of these faith groups have grown beyond this now. The Muslims are about 700 years behind the Christians in the growth of their religion so it is still basically in an immature cycle. I HOPE that Muslims get done with this stage and grow beyond it philosophically before this gets any worse.
But in all likelyhood it seems that the crusades are still in progress and the Muslims will continue to call jihads on us. I think very soon it really will be all out war the Muslims on one side - and the Christians and Jews on the other. That sounds scarily biblical.

It is the current cause of most of the violence in the world. Why do these people talk about Christian killing people during the crusades hundreds and hundreds of year ago?

Those people are gone and dead and if people back then had attacked the muslims for what was going on we might all be dead.

Wake up people and do something about the threat that is here today. Today it is Muslims doing it and we have to deal with what is happening just like the Christians had to be dealt with back then or we are going to die.

Ok. Let's do the math.

You say there are 360+ Islamlic terrorist groups. Let's say that all together, they total 500,000 individual terrorists. That's an average of almost 1500 members per group. Fairly large, but on average probably not unreasonable.

And for comparison, that's roughly equal to the total number of people in all the prisons in the US. Or four times the number of US troops in Iraq. And per group, that's the same as the total number of UN forces in Lebanon.

So, 500K terrorists. Out of over 1 billion muslims. Thats 0.05% (1/20th of one percent). Meaning, the other 99.95% are not terrorists. And you think that 0.05% is a valid reason to blame the other 99.95%?

Then, you must also be convinced that every person in the United States is a felon, because 0.5% (10x as many) of the US population is imprisoned for felony convictions right now.

THIS is one of those times i must agree and support the assertion that Islam is in fact a terroist religion at the moment and all (ALL) of them support one another .
IT is not a coincidence that terrorists work and rent property owne often by others of there faith and recieve all the support and encourage ment they need to carry out there attacks .
NOT one person came forward and turned in a terrorist and they must live next door to someone .
IN some neighbor hoods it is ok to have your pot plant out back in the sun and your nieghbors look the other way .BUT in some the smell of someone smoking weed is enough to raise warning alerts at the police station and begin an investigation .
IF you tolorate terrorists you are one of them and i tolerate weed so arrest me .BUT i would not stand by and allow my nieghbor to act strange and bring 10 year olds in the house without banging on the door and calling the police .
YOU have to draw the line at harming others and terrorists do just that .
BuyING guns supports bank robberies is the same as smoking pot supports terrorists .
I really think some peopllle believe the connection exists between pot and terroists .AND if they believe that then they should believe osam bin laden is or was on the payroll of the U.S.A. for many years and was given weapons that have been used to kill americans .
