It's not just America that would not be safer but the whole world. When you have a nation with a leader that has called for the obliteration off the face of the world ( Israel ) and made the statements he has made about the so called day will come. And that leader refuses to recognize another nations right ot exist the rest of the world cannot and must not let that nation have such a powerful weapon of destruction in their hands.
Iran has intentionally tried to create the problem they have with the other countries in the world with their rhetoric and scare tactics just as Sadham Husein done for too long. You can only bully somebody for so long before they fight back.
It's not all Muslims that believe the way that your radical leaders believe. My God how can anybody believe that if you kill yourself for any reason that they are going to heaven and be with your Allah and have 40 virgins waiting for him. Only God has the right to take your life .God does not allow in any shape or form a individual the right to take his or her life. He said if you do this you condemn your soul to hell. All those fools that commit suicide in the name of Allah are in Hell and instead of 40 virgins they have 40 demons standing around poking them in their *** constantley.
I for one don't think our country or any other country in the world should be offering Iran any incentives to halt their nuclear ambitions.Why this tactic doesn't work. It was allready done with North Korea and it didn't work then. They were taking the incentives and still doing what they wanted. Iran would do no different than Korea. Instead of incentives we give Iran bombs on top of their heads. Only let our forces do it without the kid gloves on .Let's follow Israels lead and destory everything we can hit with our bombs.The whole infrastructure and all till they surrender or else. They would do it to us if they could.
I am tired of our Govt. handing out so much of the wealth we have to countries in so called aide and then they despice us as Americans while we have so many people in our own country that are going hungrey and living substandard lives and in living conditions not fit for a dog. I say we start taking care of Home first and then give what is left over if any.

No. No one is safer if anyone has yet another nuclear weapon.

Iran could possibly have a civil war. Its people are really more divided than they look. It seems many are radical and many are more secular, in their political views. Uh oh, that's not good for a country with a nuke. Think about how Russia must feel. They better be good friends...

What can we do,...let's see. We can destroy the country. I don't really want to kill Iranians. But what if the leader really is a nut-job seeking a new persian empire. The new Hitler. It's really hard to tell. Genocide city here we come! I see it coming somewhere in the world (other than Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Darfur). I think a big one coming on...

You've got the bomb. And you used it on civilians. Twice. Imagine Iran bombing Israel to 'end a war', and trying to justify it as such. The only problem most Americans and westerners have with Iran having the bomb is this: it's a Muslim nation.

We may not agree with most of what the Iranian leader says or does, but when you're backed into a corner for fear of your own security, you'll find a way to get the bomb. Israel has. Thanks to American taxpayers.

The first part of your question is easy : NO!

The idea of a country with known close ties to Islamic Fascists and an unstable government and a kook for it's leader AND a nuclear bomb is very, very unsettling to say the least.

The second part of your question is a much more difficult one. I don't know the answer - negotiations and diplomacy don't seem to getting us anywhere and the Europeans and Russians aren't much help either. It's a very difficult situation to be sure. I hope our elected officials can sort it out without military intervention.
