20,000 are expected for Labor Day pro-illegal immigrant march scheduled for Sept. 4 in Wilmington, near Long Beach in Southern California. Nativo Lopez, director of Hermandad Mexicana Nacional, a pro-immigrant group, believes the march will inspire subsequent demonstrations throughout September. For some time now, Fox has been trying to release the 1966 Batman tv show onto DVD, but has been in a deadlock with Warner Bros. who wants a piece of the Bat-pie. Why is Warners fighting for something that isn't theirs? Sure, they own the Batman character, but what they own now has nothing to do with what Fox owned 40 years ago. Batman: The Movie (1966) was released to DVD with no problems in 2001, as was the original Batman movie serials of the 1940s by Columbia Pictures. Why is Warners withholding the show from the fans? Why is it taking this long for their lawyers to understand that they haven't a leg to stand on?

These are virtually indestructable objects. Every Plane Crash I am aware of has yielded these boxes. Why was a passport from the supposed hijackers found in the rubble but not the black boxes? Why?

If the driver keeps moving fast like they do in let's say toll road, the military will get them and punish them. Do you experience the same thing in your country?

Clue: that is two separate front seats and two rows of bench seats. 8 sets of seatbelts.

"The Disrupt Unit, an undercover, plain-clothes division of the Border Patrol, arrested 23 undocumented migrants on August 8 in downtown Nogales, in Arizona. The illegal immigrants emerged from a Chevrolet Suburban, which had been under surveillance by the unit. Although Arizona has its fair and constant share of illegal immigrant arrests, 23 is a large number to detain at one time. "

If an officer sees a Suburban carrying 23 people at one time, is it 'racial profiling' to pull it over?

I had enough. Everytime I use the word "black" (with no racist meanings) a lot of people come and claim their pain, their marginalization and blame the "white evil man" for their problems. I've met a lot of educated black persons (from Africa) and it seems they understood that work is very important for the progress of their countries, they understood the power of democracy and free market.

But hey. There's also a big African American community here always starting fights on racial problems. Everytime you tell them they are wrong (or stupid -note that i also make stupid a lot of other people such as caucasians and asians) they start to bark: "Racist", "Bigot", "Hater", "Uneducated fool".

Well I am not an uneducated fool ( i've spent a lot of my time studying both social problems, but also electronics (5 years- i have a diploma)). A lot of "my uneducated friends" have the same views ... We are not "racist" we are simple watchers and observers.
Question: Why all this hate ?
PS I am EU

I think we should offer amnesty to illegal aliens who are willing to enlist in the US military for 8 years. We already allow legal aliens to enlist so loyalty shouldn't be an issue. The military is having trouble recruiting enough soldiers and many illegal workers are the right age and in great physical shape. They may not have the education or skills to ever rise in rank but we need dish washers and ditch diggers.

Historically, military service was used as a path to citizenship for many. Why not let illegal aliens do one more job that Americans don't want to?

The five members of the UN Security Council plus Germany have given Iran until August 31st to halt uranium enrichment. If Iran chooses to ignore the stipulations given by the Security Council, they face severe economic and political sanctions. Iran has called these requests illegal and has also stated that the Islamic Republic has a new agenda. The European Union does not endorse the UN's proposal. Are we looking a serious negotiations or is Iran buying time? Their answers and referenced proposals for negotiation remain vague. Please serious opinions ..... Thank you

Okay, so you Trek geeks out there know that this was covered in the episode on Data. There's also "Bicentennial Man". Then there's the Isaac Asimov "I, Robot" writings. What I'm wondering is what y'all think of the idea... (after all, it may come sooner than we expect).
