No. But it has more to do with the advancement and growth of tele-communications and media capabilities, including the www.
which is a new toy.
Many would say the 'next most criticised' would have been during the Vietnam invasion, even though there were only 3 television networks, and most people didnt get all 3 channels, unless they were in cities. Yet everyone in America had an opinion on the L.B.J. administration.
Yes, G. B. has earned his.

Yes almost all administrations are criticized and some much more than Bush's. The difference is that more people criticize Bush than ever before, he does not represent most of the people in the US. He caters to a small vociferous group and makes very bad decision, and the decider he is a complete failure.

Are you old enough to remember the Clinton Administration? I'm not insulting you by asking that....that's an actual question because you may not be...I don't know. Clinton could do nothing right in the eyes of Republicans. This is just the way politics are.....it's cut throat. Democrats criticize Republicans and Republicans criticize Democrats. If a Democrat wins in 2008, the tables will turn and the Republicans will be "whining" about anything and everything. That's politics.....unfortunately.

In my lifetime the Truman administration was criticised as much or more, as was the Johnson administration and the Nixon administration.
Mr. Bush is a very decent man, but I think he may be a little tired and I don't see him doing that much lately. His approval post 9/11 was very high. I wish he would lead now as well as he did then.

Well, they did get rid of Nixon....I think its fair to say that he enraged people further. But there are two explaination for why this seems so.
1. The level of media scrutiny of any world leader has developed in tandem with the development of technology - no world leader has ever been watched as much as they are today.
2. Secondly, many of the issues that Bush deals with are controversial - love him or hate him, he decisions ignite enormous debate and that debate has been picked up in the pubilc forum.

I would argue no.
but qualify it with the hunting of the president specifically and his wife, during the 90's.
There were millions of dollars spent by republicans to bring down President Clinton, from day one.
Richard Mellenscafe created the Arkansa Project with the specific purpose of creating a air of suspcion of guilt.
for example they paid off state troopers to lie, that Clinton had commited some act while govener.
With ken starr you now have the government itself paying millions of dollars to hunt the president.
The good news is the majortiy of people knew better, espcially a guy named David Brock.
who used to be a right wing political news hitman. He has since seen the error of his ways and founded

as a watch dog group to monitor for distortions and lies in main stream media.
he also wrote a book about his life as a Right wing inside man and how they hunted Clinton

Q1 I sincerely hope not. I wouldn't like to think that previous administrations attempts at foreign policy were as inept and counter productive as this ones.
