This is no joke. They can, they are. And nobody thinks it is significant or are unable to see that it is happening.

Illegal immigrants are protesting in the street! Do you actually believe that they are not voting? America is going to be entirely different because of this issue and all people can say is that: "if they vote it is illegal" do I really look that stupid? or are you really believing that the issue is that insignificant?

I doubt there are laws, that would be too blatant. But it is happening, look at my previous questions for proof. We are allowing it in our country, and that may as well be a law set in stone.

State election boards, by federal law, are suppose to check every person who registers to vote to make sure they are a real person, a citizen and live where they claim they do.

Does it always work out, probably not. But for the most part they will catch an non-citizen. So, I don't think there are a whole lot of illegals voting.

Why would someone here illegally put themselves at risk to vote?

well the only thing I know is the last time I voted I was not asked for any ID at all. No drivers license nothing. They just asked for my name and marked me off the list. I could have taken names out of the phone book and walked in there and said that was my name and if that person was a registerd voter and hadn't voted yet I could have voted again and again. This sytem is crap and it needs to change right now. If you have to be able to read and speak English to become a citizen (that is the law by the way) why are voter registration forms in Spanish?

Any state that allows them to drive and allows a drivers license to register to vote I would think.

This is crazy. I don't understand why President Bush is for this, why doesn't he just invade Mexico and make this one great big state and put them all on welfare too?

John McCain is another for Comprehensive legalization of immigrants. Where did the republican all go?

We have a lot of pretty naive people in here. They are not entitled to work, they do, they cannot do it legally, so they do it the same way they drive, vote, get welfare, food stamps and everything.

Adios America, Bueno Mehico.

Illegal immigrants cannot legally vote. While there is a possiblity of fraud, immigration experts believe the number is small because people here illegally typically don't want to expose themselves to the government.

They could not vote, illegal immigrants are criminal activity of a hosting nation hence criminal laws could harm to you. Since you are illegal you could not vote to decide anything for the hosting nation until you get citizeship. First you convert yourself into legal immigrant and apply for naturalisation or citizenship, until then you are criminal and violator of the land laws, no laws could not protected you, other than international human rights law, refugees, asylum etc.

Yes I am sure some do, but not that many. In California to register to vote you only need to sign a statement saying you are a citizen; if they do that - they are commiting perjury. Then on the other end they make checking such status out to be a racial hate crime. So finding out is impossible

There should be absolutely no laws allowing illegal aliens to vote. They are not citizens, they are foreign criminals illegally here.

I would think that there aren't any laws that do so.

There is no law protecting them to vote. You must be a legal citizen of the US to have that right. I think you might have misunderstood something, please show references if you have them. Just like there are people killing people and others sell drugs, there are no laws protecting them, just not enough enforcement to keep them from doing it.
