The answers I'm getting are positive feed back, yet I'm getting a thumbs down... makes me think the pro-criminals are not wanting to respond in voice, but just clicking thumbs down.

angela R- If you did not notice, I asked a question I did not put a gun to your head and forced you to answer... why do you need to be so negitive to every one that is not trying to kiss the butt of the pro-illegal movement.

I waited a couple of minutes to answer to see if you would get one from an illegal and since you didn't that answered the question for me.

I have raised a large family, many years as a single mom...I have been a foster parent for 22 children of all races..I also cared for mentally handicapped children and adopted two. I did it with hard work, not spending more than I earned, and not expecting any handouts..I taught my children how to work and how to stand on their own feet.
All of my children are financially secure. One is a deputy sheriff, two own their business and have done very well. Four are in college. They are working to put themselves through school. One daughter is finishing her degree with raising small children.
They are all wonderful parents and have good marriages...
I have since remarried and my life has become easier...but I didn't remarry until I was 52, so it's not like I've had anything handed to me.
My husband is an attorney who takes about 25% of his cases knowing he will not be paid for them....he takes those because these people have been treated wrongly and cannot afford an attorney...he calls these files his"blessings".....
We do our own housework, yard work, car maintenance, and grow a large garden every year..
In the winter, we feed a herd of deer...what a marvelous National Geographic experience for us, the children and the grandchildren.
We also give 10% of our income to charity.....

I do all that also so I'm wondering why is this directed to pro's which is what led me to this question PLUS I'm native American,so I answered. I work I contribute to charities,I help with the food Pantries,I volunteer with the ombudsman program when I don't work in Nursing homes what else would you like. I volunteer in several programs, And probably pay as much in taxes as you do if not more, simply because I live on an Isle land.

I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps, I work and pay taxes. I think that that is more than enough to deserve to live in America!

I pay taxes, I vote, I volunteer at schools...
However, those don't earn you a right to be here. It is like initiation into a club. You have to be approved by a process determined by the existing club members who collectively built the club to be worth joining to begin with. My parents, grandparents etc earned me my right, and I'll earn my kids a place, and so forth.

I pay lots of taxes and make lots of good food for my coworkers and friends. I also put my hard earned money right back in the system. I share my culture with friends who are interested.
Plus, I make one american citizen REAL happy! :D
