I respect all your answers thus far, pro and against. But I have to ask Eagleflyer what the problem is with Joe Lierberman saying I said freedom OF religion nor freedom FROM religion. He's just saying that we have a right as a society to choose whatever religion we want. And the government does not have the right to say that we should have NO religion. He is referring to such things as mangers on town squares, In God We Trust on money. I mean, I would be fine to see some sort of Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist display on my town green during their holy days. The only thing Lieberman is saying here is let everyone practice their own religion at their own time, with free will. What he objects to is the government suppressing religions from expressing their religions of their own free will.

Now you are the problem with Lieberman's campaign. Let's just smear Ned Lamont because we cant campaign against him on the issues, becuase he is on the correct side of the issues. Lamont has not said or done any of the things you listed, so dont equate him with Jesse Jackson or Chavez!

Oh, ignore Jesse Jackson. That man just wants to get his ugly face in every picture.

As for the race, I'd pick Lamont if I lived there. I think Lieberman combines the worst of both major parties--supporting the Iraq war, wanting to ban or restrict media (he bleats about video games every year!), awfully free with taxpayer money.

Run Indy Joe Run...i'm a Centrist who in many cases leans to the superb and Joe is unquestionably a left winger. yet he does what he believes inspite of the fallout. he's a frontrunner. he will win in a landslide. i'm from Connecticut. i'd vote for Joe if I nevertheless lived there. The ramifications of Joe's triumphing in a landslide will set the %. for the extermination of the a techniques left interior the as quickly as large Democratic social gathering. i think of Joe equivalent to JFK. a authentic Democrat. Lamont is for the loser left of the party. Lieberman does not agree on one issue and his party is willing ton eat him. The Democrats have NO backbone but they have plenty of spin less uneducated voters. Lieberman will win his state.

I am a Republican and I would vote for Lieberman over Lamont.

Lamont is nothing more then a Communist.

It is funny how the Liberals slay their own.
