Russia is incredibly powerful. The USA, however, is obscenely powerful.

Most likely U.S. Even though I'm from America, I'm not being biased. This statement isn't true, "The United States has a small army..." The U.S has the second largest military in the world after China. The U.S also spends the most on military and military technology in the whole world.
If you're talking U.S invading Russia, it would not work. U.S would need to put the majority of our troops in Russia, and that wouldn't work for U.S. U.S would easily defend from Russia.
But also, Russia would not be able to successfull win on American soil, so the true answer is no one would win in a war against the other.
If you want to know which military is stronger in general, it's definately U.S. I'm not being biased. By numbers and technological advantage, U.S is stronger.

The United States has a small army, however it does have a better equipped and trained army. The United States had spent the entire Cold War developing its ability to force project. In this area it has a better navy and a better capability to maintain a supply chain. Russia, while making great strides in the area of aircraft and armour has lost a considerable about ground when it comes to naval power. It's advancements in aircraft and armour too are mitigated by US advancements in different weapons systems. such as the SFWs.
Of course all this is moot when you consider both nations have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world multiple times each.

the united states of America, is by far the strongest and most powerful nation in the world. Russia may be a large nation with an alright military, but they are not a rich nation. America is the richest, strongest, and more advanced nation. America would be able to defeat any nation who stands up against the U.S.
and as an American I would support the U.S. for any cause. no matter what happens in the future America shall remain as the most powerful of all. I also heard a joke at the nasa center. America will spend thousands of dollars for an astronaught to write with a pen, while Russia just uses a pencil.

USA no doubt, Russia has lost its army power over the years, but they might be hiding something thought like briefcase size nuclear bombs, not sure though, but i've heard about those bombs, also i've read an article that says that USA has the strongest army next to China

This must be a rhetorical question...correct? If not you might want to review the past 35 years of world history focusing on the collapse of the USSR and the 4 basic reasons for that collapse. But if you want the obvious answer...the USA.

the US by far. Russia was strong when they were communist but now they're about avg. a better question is who's stronger china or US??
