Why do you care if other races besides white are gaining more power? They are still the minority, still being judged and treated negatively. I understand this is the United States of America, but it is NOT a WHITE country. There are many, many people BORN here who are Spanish, Indian, Black, Native American, Jewish, Asian, etc.

Just because some other ethnic groups are catching up economically it does not mean they are 'taking over' and who cares if they are soon becoming the majority in SOME cities? Seriously, whats it you?

My sister was married Feb.05. She is Canadian. When crossing the boarder she & her husband denied they were married. The boarder guards knew they were lying and put a 5 year ban on my sister from entering the US. She has no criminal record and has completed all the paper work for her Visa. Everything was approved; however, a black mark came up regarding the boarder incident. Last week she was denied entry into the USA. Some people are telling her to get pregnant and then she'll be guaranteed entry. I don't think this is true, I haven't found anything on it on line.
Has anyone heard of this expediting immigration? My thought is that she'll just end up being alone and pregnant in Canada.

For example: Let's say I buy a new car. I will be taxed on the purchase price, taxed to put it on the road, taxed on the insurance, taxed on the servicing and (most highly) taxed on the fuel. After 3 years I'll be taxed on the MOT and any repairs in order to keep in on the road (the priveledge I am be taxed on). Oh and lets not forget, they tax us on the salary we are paid; so we have less money to pay the other taxes on everything else. Then Brown has the nerve to say if he cuts one tax 'Petrol' must go up; he's just bullying the country into having his own way.

does any one have any information about the mos 15q air traffic controller? I am joining the army and went to meps the other day and scored a line score of 110s to 130s. my recruiter said that i can do just about anything i want. oh yeah, i only failed the weight. i was 4 pounds over and i go back to weigh in and talk to the counciler next month. What can Mexicans do to improve the quality of life for Mexico's poor so that they can live a life fit for human beings there in Mexico, and they won't be driven to immigrate illegally to the U.S.? Of course, if they wanna immigrate anywhere legally, that's fine. But really, what can Mexicans there do? And what can Americans do to put pressure on the Mexican gov't to take care of its citizens?

It was locked to a bike stand. It looks like someone cut my cable-lock with something quite substantial - while I was in Sainsburys for 15 mins.
The policeman I reported it to said, if I see it, call 999.
However I'm sure there are more interesting things I could do...
