I've never seen so many uneducated and uninformed people in my life. Where to hell do you people get your info? Do you just parrot anything the media says, or the government says? There is no hope for the future with such stupid and uneducated people. 98% of you are what is wrong with this country because you make a conscious decision to be blind, stupid, and apathetic.

My sister got into a car accident with an illegal alien. It was not her fault and the illegals tried taking off but were caught down the road, they were both drunk. From what my relative told me, she wont be getting a dollar out of it? And we dont have money for a lawyer? WE DONT HAVE MONEY TO BUY A NEW CAR. She has a full time job. The way I see it, I pay for the illegal's medical services and kid's education on a daily basis and they rethank us by almost killing my sister? We need advice on how to get money from this, we are so desperate

In the last two weeks the top U.S. military commander in the Middle East has said Iraq could move towards civil war (1) and a leaked memo from Britain's top diplomat in Iraq has said civil war is the MOST LIKELY outcome (2).

Although Blair is a fool at least he urged more intensive planning for the aftermath of the Iraq war.

I sometimes go into Yahoo Mexico and ask or answer questions. I usually ask things that people from Mexico might know, that the average American would not. For example, I asked about a particular Mexican indigenous group and their history.
Well It is getting annoying, everytime that i ask a question it gets deleted! They report it as not being in English! Well it cannot be in English in order to follow Yahoo Mexico's guidelines! I know that it is cowards in this section that are reporting me. They see the questions on my Q & A, and I guess assume I asked a Spanish question on Yahoo America. Mostly I think they do it to be jerks! So my question is:

How can I ask a question to Yahoo Mexico without being deleted falsely?

I tried to get unemployment checks while I went to school. I was denied, I sent out an appeal, talked to a judge, and he said if he didnt make a decision that Friday, it would be made the following Monday. Its been a week and a half and I still havent heard anything. Is there something I could be missing? Who can I call to see what is going on? Thanks!

Marijuana isn't addictive, it can't kill you overnight, and it won't hurl your life into a downward spiral.

Alcohol can do all of these things in the wrong hands.

So why isn't marijuana legal?

If we take our total rationale for a particular punishment (let us say, a fine of $500 for shoplifting) as having various objectives or rationales (vengeance, incapacitation, reduction of future violations by showing the example of the punishment to other citizens, etc.) how much of that rationale for that specific punishment is rightly afforded the objective of reducing such offenses future? Is the punishment intended to reduce the likelihood of similar violations in the future? What percentage of total rationale ought rightly be afforded deterrence?

I am a Canadian citizen and I really want to move to the UK permanantly. My parents are British citizens but not by birth because they lived there for some time prior to 1974 before coming to Canada. I also want to be able to work in the UK. What is the procedure to apply. I think that I might have to apply for British citizenship through my father...but the British Immigration Law is a bit complicated to understand or do I have to apply for a British passport. I've been on the British Embassies website both in Canada and the UK but its still unclear to me how i should go about the process. Can anyone with some knowledge about this give me some idea as to how i should proceed? Thank you.

If I were a draftable age, I'd think about that.

I was almost drafted to go to Vietnan when I lost my S-2 student deferment as a freshman starting college on a full scholarship and Nixon changed the draft system into an involuntary draft system based on the order birthdates were randomly picked by a lottery method. Soon after we left Vietnam, the lottery system was abolished and the voluntary system put in place.

Please explain your answer and whether or not you are in the draftable age range which would be set by Presidential decree anywhere below 40 ie 39 to 18.

I live in so cal and was sited for speed contest with no radar/laser involved. officer said I was doing 80+ but I was about 80 ft from him before he stopped. I accelerated up to speed with a friend and then let off...that's when I saw the officer and at the stop sign. By the time he caught up to me and pulled me over I was about 1/4 mile from where I turned right. He stated that "he had hadn't even stopped and I was already gone." On the ticket it shows that I was doing 80MPH + in a 35MPH when it was actually 40MPH Zone. Also my bike was not impounded. Just wondering if anyone might have some insight on this.

The Republican congress has slept through the incompetence of this administration, but when the Democrats get the house in November, they will be able to force some of these incompetents to testify under oath about their screw-ups. Who do you think will be the first to "retire" when that happens? Rumsfeld? Rice? Chertoff? Cheney?
