Why is it that when anyone attacks the US or Britain they're terrorists; When the US or Britain attacks anyone else, it's Freedom?

Thanks for the intelligent responses;
Those that write all in caps and post "HAHA YOU'RE SO DUMB I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ASKED THAT QUESTION",
I have a message for you:
Don't ever answer my questions again, for you have shown you do not have the capacity to think for yourself, but rather accept as truth whatever the god TELEVISION tells you.

You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.

The words Terrorist and Freedom are political slogans. The first means bad guys and the second means noble purpose. The words Terrorist and Freedom are misleading and inappropriate. They are both a shorthand that obscures the actual meanings of the two words for the purpose of building a partularly discriptive pollitical metaphor.
These two words as such are both blaming and celebrative in nature depending on who is saying the two words. If the right-wings can get the lefties to just say the word Freedom when they are redefining the word, then the righties win. If the Lefties can get the righties to say the word Terroism when they are redefining it, then they win.
It is just the same old game, but new words to obscure the meaning for a political gain. So don't use these two words in this fight.

It's the times and the point of view you're looking at it from. The winner usually goes down in history as the "good guys", but think of the US victory in the 1760s from Britan's point of view.
Think of how these "terrorists" justify fighting the US. A handful of knuckleheads flew planes into some building halfway around the world, and the next thing you know your country's being occupied? What would you do in that situation? I don't care who it is or what they say they're doing, if someone tries to occupy my country, I can assure you I'd be taking shots at them.
The Vietnamese celebrate victory over the US every year.
It just depends on what kind of bias you hold when you look at the situation.

Good observation. Chris Matthews on MSNBC last night said Napoleon conquered countries, supposedly to democratize them at the point of a gun. I don't know if this is true, but I suppose he gave them good laws which lasted (Napoleonic Code)

Because of the nature of the targets. The Americans and the British are not targeting civilians. They're targeting combatants. The terrorists are targeting civilians... I don't expect, however, you're smart enough to be able to understand that...
