He is here on a TPS and has a work permit. He has been here 11 years. We have applied for residency and I am curious if anyone has an idea of how long it takes to get a response from immigration.

I just wonder what people think as negotiations are going nowhere and Iran is making more threats against Israel while slowly developing a nuclear weapon. Can we afford to attack Iran without putting Israel and our troops in Iran in harms way? Would most people, American and foreign support this? How do you feel?

How would you feel about Bill being back in the White House?

According to an article in Time Magazine it's all a distinct possibility...her running for office, that is, and him into manipulation. I personally couldn't stomach another Clinton in office. Too much a reminder of how Bill made a mockery of it, ruined some lives, thumbed his nose at our judicial system, and embarassed America - with Hillary and her fake smile standing beside him. The cigar jokes will start all over again.

Would you vote for her?

Ok, so I'm reading a lot of questions that oppose illegal immigrants. OH and by the way, they are not all from Mexico. The U.S. was based on immigration. A lot of other countries are not as prosperous as the U.S. so people immigrate to the U.S. in order to create a better life for their families. The U.S. is a land of opportunity and if an immigrant needs a job, its easy to get because many people will not do certain jobs, i.e. work in the fields, sevants, gardeners, etc.
It does suck how specific ethnic cities are not a pretty site, east l.a. for example, but the government is the one who created ghettos like that.

While on the subject, if so many American are against immigrants from Mexico, why is the Mexican culture so popular. Americans love Mexican food, Hermosa Beach, CA alone has about 10 Mexican restaurants. Corona is the #1 beer and Margaritas are the #1 alcoholic beverage.

At an electronics retail store, purchased a computer bag, wanted to know how it would fit 2 small computers, placed 2 iPods (enclosed in a plastic theft proof prevention box, which is about the same size as a small computer) which I was going to purchase in the 1st place, went to the sales associate to ask if they had the iPods in black (which took them forever to comeback), they said 'No.', I walked back over to where I left the cart, placed an iPod that I was looking at back on the shelf (totally forgot about the other two in the bag), went to purchase the bag, walked outside, and their loss prevention staff stopped me and told me what had happened. I admitted nothing. I had enough funds in my gift certificate to purchase it all. Very embarassing, am a major contributor to the community, own a mortgage lending company, have a party rental company, and have an e-commerse business. I could lose it all if I don't wipe this off. I plan to plea not guilty, & hopefully appeal to the jury.

I am from mexico city, I know 3 US guys who work illegaly and take our job...they didnt apply for work permit.they are taking our job, and have their US kids in our school to learn spanish.

How can I turn them down?
