im doing an a- level law course and need help answering the above question

in brief: green paper, white paper, first & second readings HoC, commitee and report stage (MP's whipped), third reading HoC. This process is repeated in HoL, and if there are no ammendments the bill gets royal assent and the act comes into effect on an agreed date.

'scottish business law' by mcmillian and mfarline is the best book for that as there is alot in it'.
from the introduction of a bill, to the act of parliament.
PS Scottish law and english law differ alot.
