Three years ago the United Nations and the rest of the world said no to this war. Americans have finally realized they were lied to by this president and they are now understanding that the deaths of so many US soldiers and innocent Irakis are not worth a few barrels of oil.

The American people watched the Allies go into Iraq and destroy everything. Now it's just work where allied soldiers are dying daily. The average American could care less about the person across the street and has a five minute attention span. They don't care that Iraq's borders are wide open, the streets have no police, the water and sewage system works sporadically and the electricity system doesn't work at all. This in a country that was the most modern and secular state in the region, that had come to expect everything the average American does. Since the USA wrecked all these items and drew in all sorts of terrorists the USA should fix it. But in this war,and anyone who watches fifteen hours a day of TV knows only the disliked die, American soldiers are dying and the Iraqi's are not acting as the shrub said they would the call is to get out. I didn't support the war but almost as great a crime would be to pull out and leave the people to the mess that the USA created.

The Iraq war is evolving into an unending conflict with no winners. Years ago people assumed that the "insurgency" would dissipate over many months. But they had not counted on two things: the utter fragmentation of Iraqi society and the psychology of the Iraqi individual (especially young men), and the great influx of weapons and "fighters" from other Moslem countries interested in nothing other that the obstruction of U.S. state-building objectives. For many months the press and the American generals have had differing views on whether or not the ongoing conflict can be called "civil war". Now (in the last 60 days) the American generals have begun to change their tune and to warn Congress of the spiral into civil war. Is it now in fact a civil war? (Well, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....)

Because no one has anticipated that war will last for such a long period and that deaths soldiers are flying home in caskets. and people are seeing some of their loved one pass away, and could not control the fear and feeling within.
Just like in Iraq, solider are sending message and letters saying how life's goes and guess that is war, you goes into war and miss a few years of daily life's and with your loved one.
In any war, times is a deciding factors and remember that these troops are not fighting at home and they are unsure of what would happened next least of all to see their loved one in body bag. just like Vietnam war, no one wanted to fight for a foreign power or government.
The negative impact from the media that featured abuse and human right violation of the military personnel make people feel that something is not rights.
I can said one things, if you goes to war someone will die and just because someone dies and you start to curse and swear it does and will not make a difference. Remember one thing you are there to make thing right and do it. Why it took so long? I guess it the policy that people make to prolong the war, never ever took over a country and destroys everything without understanding it.

I by no skill undergo in thoughts all and sundry being for the warfare in Iraq. Now, whilst we went to Afghanistan, that warfare became into supported. although, Bush despatched the troops to Iraq and that made people indignant. There are rulers in different international locations who're tyrants and we don't bypass after them. Bush has a private vendetta against Suddam Hussein. The warfare in Iraq isn't our combat. those people think of they're struggling with in the call of their GOD. it isn't any place for us to stick our noses in. warfare is by no skill the respond, yet shall we are starting to be Osama the 1st week in Afhanistan if the protection rigidity wasn't so civil. The united states replaced because of the fact our president is a warfare hungry stressful headed guy.

Because most of the American people expected these operation to be over within a few years and did not consider these problems emerging forcing the US to stay longer than planned and resulting into high casualties.
But going home now would be a mistake, all these brave soldiers would have died for nothing! In these difficult times, all Americans must support their troops in order to accomplish their mission.

Simple...because so many of our soliers, sailors, marines and airmen are dying there while the violence continues to worsen increasing the odds of more loss of life for the US. What the citizens of this country need to remember is that we volunteered to serve our country and follow the orders of our Commander in Chief. We realized that going to war was a possibilty. If we don't defend and protect who will?

The American people were lied to by Bush about WMD in Iraq. Remember, our fight started in Afghanistan, trying to get the Taliban and Osama. All of a sudden all of our attentions goes to Iraq? What happened to capturing Osama?
I support our troops, but the war in Iraq is not right!
