Will be going there in a month...how is it like? What things are there to do there? Serious answers please - if you can help it.

We are pretty much back to normal here, so facilities are still damaged and the area is not 100%. If you go out to eat expect to wait, and the lines start to form around 5pm. There is some night life, now that the casinos are back and the Beau is opening up next week.

While I was in Iraq, a friend I went to high school and college with is now an 0-6 or USN Captain in the See Bees worked in Kuwait and Bahrain. He is stationed at Imperial Beach, CA.
