At what point will various nations around the world issue apologies to the people of the US?

I don't think that the United States should have to apologize for anything. If anybody should be apologizing it should be the rest of the world apologizing to the United States for being such scumbags about the war in Iraq and the problem in Iran. In fact I say if you want us to pull out of Iraq then fine, I think we should, just to show you how wrong you really are. Because when the terrorists start coming after you Europeans and Asians you will all agree that the United States was right in the first place. And if you want Iran to have a nuclear bomb then so be it. But if your the ones getting nuked don't come crying to the United States as usual for help! Because your on your own.

What should we apologize for now?? Of course the are having a civil war, but the only thing that we had to do with that is that we made the sides more even. before we arrived on the scene your buddy Sadam was terrorizing his own people. Oh, but not all of his people, just the ones that didn't believe as he did. Now that we removed him they are taking a stand and actually standing up for themselves (behind our soldiers, of course) It is like when the teacher comes in and pulls the bully of the smaller kid and all of the sudden the smaller kid has some guts. But what happens if the teacher leaves the room too soon? The bully will beat the kid twice as hard.

Ya I'll do it.

I on the behalf of all Americans would like to apologize for setting the people of Iraq free. We are sorry that these people are incapable to govern themselves. We were wrong to think they were civil moralistic people.
Honestly the US did not understand these people can only be governed by fear and death. We are sorry for trying to give you the ability to pursue a better life.

for lying... as soon as bush is out of office

for taking down saddam, defending ourselves from terrorist attacks... there's no need

Iraq may be at civil war, but I don't really understand why people think this invasion was going to be peaches and cream...

Didn't it take 5 years to stabilize Korea? didn't it take 10 years to stabilize Germany? Wasn't there civil war rumors in post-war japan?

Apparently, it's ok to forgot history as long as you can be anti-American.

Apologize for what?

I say pull out now and let the animals kill each other. More power to them. Hopefully the whole region will turn on each other and we can finally see an end to radical islam.

I don't see a reason for apology, from anybody.

a civil war in miniature? what the heck is that supposed to mean. It is like being a little bit pregnant. America will not apologise, at least not as long as we have the republicans in office. It is one of our many scandals.

America should NOT apologize for doing what is necessary to protect the rest of the world from power crazed dictators.
Why don't you just immigrate to Iran and let them show you how superior their way is...
