Is there any way to catch an illegal alien?

My sister got into a car accident with an illegal alien. It was not her fault and the illegals tried taking off but were caught down the road, they were both drunk. From what my relative told me, she wont be getting a dollar out of it? And we dont have money for a lawyer? WE DONT HAVE MONEY TO BUY A NEW CAR. She has a full time job. The way I see it, I pay for the illegal's medical services and kid's education on a daily basis and they rethank us by almost killing my sister? We need advice on how to get money from this, we are so desperate

Try posting this under law and ethics. I'm not sure if anything can happen, but it's worth a shot....I mean if illegals are able to sue American citizens then we should be able to sue them or at least take them to court !!


On a side note were the illegals arrested and their car impounded ??

Illegal aliens are protected from prosecution by the liberals, they don't need driver's licenses, no auto insurance, no health insurance, no consequences for false papers.... just let a legal citizen try any one of those.... hell, illegal aliens don't even pay tickets.... that is why the cops are so damn worthless at arresting them.... nothing will come of it....

UNTIL, Americans write congress and DEMAND that the border is closed and all illegal aliens are deported.... their children also.

Don't you have insurance that covers uninsured and under insured motorist.
If you had a new car and it was financed you had to have insurance,the finance company requires that..
I am assuming you didn't have any insurance except liability,right? Well even tho its wrong I don't see any recourse for you.You cant get any money if they are in jail and illegal.That's just wrong.

Why weren't they arrested? Well, perhaps you need to hire a private investigator to locate these thugs.....Once you do that, call the police and have them arrested....As far as money, sorry to say but you can't collect from them if they have no insurance....But at least you will get them off the street and this won't happen to someone else....

You should help your sister pay for insurance if she can't afford it. There's a rider that covers uninsured motorists . It would have covered damage to her car if the person who hit her was uninisured. Also make sure your cars are insured for full replacement value. She would be in the same situation if she was hit by an uninsured descendant of a Mayflower passenger.

Calm down, you dont personally pay for that person's bills! Also just like with anyone else, if they dont have insurance, then you get a lawyer or you dont get the money, its that simple.
