I do think it would have been useful to have given where you are at in order for us to explain where you need to go. Usually one does need to know a present location to then instruct someone on the directions that they need to follow for getting to the desired destination. However, if we are talking about America there are numerous homeless shelters that usually have a religious affliation, and these might be of use to you. Also every state has a welfare office where you might apply for assistance

There are usually government agencies where you live that can help you with low income housing. Check with the local Department of Economic Services.

The Salvation Army can help with a place to stay and also with helping you get back on your feet.
