No it is the tenant's home until they move out. The landlord can give them an eviction notice, but typically it is required 30 days before they move out date unless the tenant violates the contract in such a way as to warrant early eviction.

Two things.....do you have a rental agreement & are you still paying rent?

(1) If you have an agreement...unless it stipulates that the landlord "can" move in with you.......then NO.

(2) If you are still paying rent.......the landlord has no right at all to move in on you.

Contact your cities rent control department....If you're not sure where to go, call your city hall and I'm sure they'll direct you to the correct department.

What country are you from? Laws differ. In most cases, NO.

You need to see the movie Pacific Heights, with Michael Keaton. What a cool movie!!! . You'll see how hard it is for the lanlord.
