Most of them dont come from your neighborhoods, or I should say are not from wealthy families, nor would you even consider them equals if they were not in uniform and working at safeway. What makes them so honorable? That the Armed forces is the only sure job you can get, That rich kids opt out and go for college ? Why so two faced? They fight for a country that regards them as spicks, ******, kyches, wops, chinks, white trash, etc.

Yet we are fire and brimstone over bashing the troops, but until they put on that uniform they were nothing to anybody outside of their neighborhoods and when they come home they will still get labeled. Why do wars feel like football games?

did any of that rant make sense?

and dont come at me with that miltary crap. I did more in the six years inthe Navy than most of you miltary boys will do in your life.

It’s true. Dick Cheney and Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) have agreed that the government should be able to access Americans' conversations and emails without getting an individualized warrant. But that isn’t all they’re after.

Under the guise of responding to the NSA spying scandal, the Bush administration and its allies in Congress are actually pushing for new ways to invade your privacy, with unprecedented and dangerous spying legislation crafted under Dick Cheney’s supervision.

The bad news is, if these bills pass, our homes, cell phone records and email inboxes will be laid bare to new kinds of government spying that are currently completely illegal. The good news is that we have a chance to stop these bills now, before White House pressure drives them to a speedy vote.

Terrorism is "The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons." -Dictionary.com.

The invasion of Iraq would only have been stopped if Saddam 's regime stepped down from power. This would change the countries society and government due to the "war on terror" (an ideological reason) and for political gain. That is the definition of terrorism. How can you fight a war on terrorism if you embrace it for your own gains?

Why is it that whole neighborhoods are abandoned by Caucasians when Hispanics move in? Should all Hispanics show their green cards to their new neighbors? Would you whiteys feel better if your brand-new foreign neighbors were from Sweden? Please share your honest views.

Now, I am a supporter of bush, and my dad is currently deployed. he's in the Special Forces, and he's gone alot. I don't like him being gone, but I still support him and I also support Bush. I don't think that you liberals support our troops. I mean, you are always dissing the war. The troops make the choice to be in the war. They could quit the Army if they really didn't want to be in the war. They knew when they joined the Army they might be in a war. Like I said earlier, they can quit ANYTIME. I am so sick of liberals bashing Bush and the war. Instead of supporting our troops, they have huge anti-war "bring-our-troops-home" parades. The soldiers make the decision to fight in this war. They don't like it? Just quit. That's all they have to do. It isn't that hard to get a job nowadays.......believe me, I am fourteen and I can work any number of places, I just choose to stick with one place. So, in short......liberals, why do you disrespect our troops? And yes.....I am only fourteen.

I just don't get it. I keep reading these lib blogs saying that we are less capable of taking out Iran since invading Iraq and Afghanistan and virtually surrounding them with hundreds of thousands of well equipped, battle hardened US armed forces. Isn’t surrounding ones enemy a good thing to do in war? These boggers either gotta by nuts or on something. Can you explain this foolishness?

if we stay, our soldiers babysit a nation building exercise with no realistic plan for actual success. if we pull everbody out now, then the iraqis are left to fend for themselves, god forbid, and the non combatants will quite likely be slaughtered (while god and the world watches another american foreign policy failure). only to have iraqi neighbors roll in to salvage the ruined chunks which remain for their own national interest.

what a mess. if you aren't angry at this president's national defense policies, then you haven't been paying attention.
