Apparently migrant cows are a disease issue (although not only from Mexico) and illegal immigrants cutting through ranches make it impossible to contain the cattle.

Balanced article.

Bashing each other seems pointless, would either side do what it takes to sort out America's part in global warming for instance

Looking at your country from the outside, if I think of US presidents
Bush, Regan, Nixon - wouldn't be having a pint with any of these any time soon

Clinton, Kennedy- seemed like they could hold their end in a pub chat.

When both the far left and the far right use the same tactics, from stereotyping to distortions of the facts to slander and personal attacks, how can either side morally claim they are the good guy?

Don’t they know the good guys aren't supposed to be the ones who lie?

As international political powers seek Iran's capitulation on nuclear weapons development, little notice is given to what the Americans and the British have done to create this crisis nor what steps the Israelis might eventually take to make it profoundly more complicated.

Iran's antipathy toward the West did not spontaneously generate out of the crazed rhetoric of radical mullahs. It has been spurred by what Iranians see as hypocrisy on the part of members of the world's nuclear community, and the bumbled meddling of the US and UK in Iranian affairs for more than a half century.

Iran is dangerous, but the British and the Americans have helped to make it that way. And the situation is even more precarious than it appears.

It just amazes me how many "intellectual" liberals think negotiating with terrorists will work. Israel tried it for years and Hezbollah just rearmed. What will take for these lib fools to wake up, or do they just hate America? Saddam funded suicide bombers in Palestine, threatened the USA, and Iraqis did attack us (WTC '93 regardless of what the ignoramuses say on the left.) They call defending America warmongering. The Moore clan (democrats) were even b!tching about the war in Afghanistan. So, why are democrats so weak on defense. With Lieberman gone as a democrat, this shows how much cowardice and intolerance has filtered into the DNC. Oh for the courage of JFK in a democrat. They'd be calling JFK a warmonger for standing up to Russia in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

This country has been successfully divided to the point of collapse. Who has done this?

Terrorism is being used as a wedge to drive us even further apart. Who is doing it?

All it will take is a few more wedges skillfully applied to make our system fall apart economically (turn off the oil), militarily (civil war), ideologically (theocracy vs. secularism). Who is doing this?

Conservatives who blame liberals are SHEEP.
Liberals who blame conservatives are SHEEP.

This is how completely we've been divided: WE EVEN BLAME EACH OTHER FOR THE DIVISION.

"Divide and conquer". The oldest tactic in the book, and it's working like a charm.

THE U.S. IS BEING CONQUERED.

Come on, let's hear from the SHEEP.

WHO IS DIVIDING US?

Come on, conservative SHEEP. BLAME THE LIBERALS.
Come on, liberal SHEEP. BLAME THE CONSERVATIVES.

You HOPELESS SHEEP.

BAAAHHHH. BAAAHHH. GOOD LITTLE SHEEP.

Ok I am an anglo, 14, and if I was president, I would loosen the borders a lot, especially with Latin America. I used to hate immigrants, and want the borders to be closed.. I have changed lol!

why are people so intolerant of immigrants? Now yes, I hate that some don't like America, but that's only a few immigrants. Most immigrants really don't care about what country they are in, as long as that nation offers great schools, is a free country, and so forth.

so why do we hate immigrants so much? people especially hate the ppl from mexico. WHY? seriously now..

the religious right especially hate the immigrants from mexico.. at least most immigrants are religious christians.

so why the hate? who is with me on loosening the borders?
