The worst of them (typically from the deptahs of Texas) think Mecca is in Iraq!!

I'm a conservative that grew up in northern Virginia. I'm a registered Republican but believe the party has lost a lot of its backbone by failing to pass Social Security reform, immigration reform, to make the national language English, and by reaching out to minorities not on the party platform, but by subtly pandering to race (Bush speaks Spanish to Latino crowds; Congressional Republicans point to Condi Rice and Colin Powell as examples of high-ranking blacks in the administration, something that goes against the color-blind, best-man-for-the-job platform Republicans are supposed to stand for).

Libertarians never win elections, yet they hold true to their beliefs--beliefs which are pretty much in lock-step with conservative principals (save for legalizing drugs).

Plus, they seem to have a lot of common sense (ever watch John Stossel?). I feel as if my party should stand for something without compromise. Is the Libertarian Party the answer?

Thanks!

It's sad that air is the only thing we share,
No matter how close we are there's always air between us.
It's also nice that air's something we all share,
No matter how far apart we are an air links us.

It's sad that past is something we can never share,
No matter how close we are the past is between us.
But it's also nice that without the past
We'd have never known each other,
No matter how far apart we are it brought us together.

Yes, it's very nice to have someone to share,
There's something very nice to have someone to care.
We may not share our past but we have our future to share.
It's sad that life is such a heavy thing to bear,
No matter how close we are it's easy to despair.
It's also nice that you and i know it's what we all share,
No matter how far apart we are we can learn to care.

There's something very nice to have something to share,
There's something very nice to have someone to care.
We may not share our bodies but we have our minds to share.

Yes, there's something very nice to have something to care,
There's something very nice to have someone to share.
We may not share our language but we have the world to share.

In the 1980's the U.S. policy for Iraq and Iran was to arm Iraq so they could be at war with Iran and kill each other as they have done for thousands of years.

After the 1st Gulf War U.S. policy was to arm the Kurds so that the could start a civil war in Iraq and kill each other each other as they have done for thousands of years.

For retalitation of 9/11 a plan was put into place to start a civil war in Iraq that would eventaly spread into another war between Iraq and Iran.

The U.S. government used the plan of weapons of mass destruction as decoy for an invasion of Iraq toppeling its government. Once the U.S. had control over the government its plans for civil war were put into place with the decoy of "building a democracy" in Iraq.

Every student of history could tell you that this is an impossible mission. The Sunnis and Sheites have been killing each other for thosands of years. The U.S. knew all along as soon as it relinquihed its grip civil war would start.

Before the civil war begins an army must be trained and equiped. The army battalions that the U.S. is currently training is not to keep peace in Iraq, but to go to war with Iran.

Now you know the truth.

I wonder if anyone else agrees. Does anyone think Iran is supplying the Hesbollah (i have no idea how to spell it) with weapons and stuff just to get through to us and they have a reason to fight us? What I mean is, they want Israel to call for our help, and then if we come in, Iran has a clear reason to fight us? Hope I dont get bashed for this...

The Bushians, Bush Christians, try to justify combining church and state today in 2 ways:
1. Claim there is no such separation.
2. Claim cuz the forefathers were Christian that they wanted it this way.

So, let's examine what the forefathers were thinkin in their own words so u can stop falsely speaking 4 them:

Thomas Jefferson, one of our Christian forefathers stated on this topic: "...I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."
http://www.leaderu.com/orgs/probe/docs/churchstate.html

Emphasis on the last sentence in his quote, "thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."

I know you Bushians wont agree with bold truth and fact cuz you lack that ability and only want to believe what you want to be true.

But there it is in your face!

Lebonan(Hezbollah and Israel, the Amardi Army in Iraqi rising again, missing Egyptian in the U.S. and the fact that Hezbollah attacked Israel right before the international summits in Russia.

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

Shouldn't these two issues be treated seperately? Why link them together? The estate tax isn't even an issue right now anyways...

Quote from the link: "The estate tax doesn't have to be addressed until the end of 2010, when current law expires"

it has been predicted that both of them will become even more dependent on immigrants both legal and illegal , a change to prevent illegality and to know who is here is what america really needs .

' a plan of legalization of those who are already here ' and ' a plan to help those which both america and china will need to help them enter in a legal way '

those are real facts why is it so hard for some to understand this ???

Go to his profile. Check out how many open and in voting questions there are. And of the resolved questions - all of them were chosen by voters.
I don't think he's reading the answers.
I think he posts a question, gets a cheap thrill knowing he just pissed somebody off, then moves on to the next question.
So, since he's not reading our answers, should we stop answering him.
That goes for you conservatives, too. He's not reading your answers either.
