I presume you mean common law marriage. Georgia does not allow formation of common law marriages. It does, like most states, recognize common law marriages formed validly in other jurisdictions.
Common law marriages are more difficult to form than most laypeople think. Do not rely on second hand information you receive from family and friends, as the consequences of not being married when you think you are or being married when you think you aren't can be emotionally and financially disastrous. Contact an attorney for an evaluation of your situation.

Both of the above answers are correct. Georgia certainly has common law on a number of issues decided by its courts. Your question probably is "Does Georgia have common law marriage?" There is more that goes into common law marriage than length of time living together. You may have had to hold yourselves out as married. Most people living together generally don't meet the tests. You will have to talk to a divorce lawyer in Georgia to see if you meet the test or if there are other claims that you might have against your "ex."

Ga law is based on English commom law but is also staturtory in nature. GA law books of current laws are several thousand pages, and the legal decisions ruling on them would be 10s of thousands of pages long.

I seem to recall 7 years, but you would be best to re-verify that information.
