Does this indicate a general shift further to the left or does this indicate that Democratic powers that be have a penchant for rich new faces with little or no political experience

Because he was "too close" to bush and a war supporter. the liberals just wouldn't stand for that...they deserted him. Just shows how compassionate and forgivving they are....not. Alot of liberals are assholes.......

The demographics show that far more rich people voted for Lamont, while the middle class workers voted for Lieberman. It used to be the Republican who were the rich guys. How times change. Now it's the Dems with the wealthy elitists and Hollywood starlets.

I think the response by a person tagged "hitler_is_bush" is all the answer you need for where the Democratic Party is going... Its a shame - didn't agree with him all the time, but Lieberman is a good man.

Because the Democrats listen to the people. The PEOPLE of Connecticut voted for Lamont! Not the national Democrats!
