Just like they forget how 80% of Congress voted for the war.
Intresting.

I cry because war is not a happy situation. I realize the need to win in Iraq, but at the present time, I fear our efforts are not going to be enough. Liberating Iraq to a point in which they will become great allies and trading partners with us may never happen- (and that is the intention of any "war to liberate" as any rational politician or ambassador worth their salt knows).
You are most likely correct- we will be in Iraq for another president's term. However, is that a good thing? For every terrorist killed, another pops up. The only difference between the terrorist we killed and the one that comes after him is that the next terrorist is even more pissed at America. Let's face it- we can't kill everyone who disagrees with us. I have no problem with killing the 9/11 terrorists and their counterparts b/c they sought violence against us- violence that we in no way instigated. Still, it is a never ending cycle. We kill. They kill. War is not the most productive method, but until we can convince the other side to negociate, what can we do?
Terrorist killing I can understand. Nation building- not so much. It is not our responsibility- no matter how cruel that sounds- to sacrifice our economy for the economy of a people who are not strong enough to stamp out their own terrorists. Maybe if we pulled out, the terrorists would go back to killing other Iraqis and leave us be. It's a simplistic solution, I know, but war is even more simplistic... and it seems like we're chasing our own tails in that regard.

Well if you think about it, when something that you don't agree with is still happening, then you will ***** about it until it changes. They are "crying" for the same reason that America cried when it was in Vietnam. Think what you will, but there are no more terrorist over there than there are right here on our own soil. The war in Iraq is not about terrorism, it is about oil. Do your research and quit listening to the news, find out for yourself. You'd be surprised.

It's not just liberals that are against the war. As a conervative it's unexceptable that we went to war to fight against an imminent threat who had tons of weapons of mass destruction and not one weopon was found. The attempt to tie Iraq to 911 was an insult to our intelligence.
As long as Americans keep dying every single day because we went to war on bad intelligence, we will still keep crying for the body bags coming home every single day.

We didn't go to war with Iraq because of terrorism. We went to war with Iraq because of misleading information related to weapons of mass destruction. Liberals are "crying" about the war in Iraq because they know we've been lied to; we're PRACTICALLY there alone, paying for it alone, and dying alone.
And the last time I checked, Bin Laden is the mastermind of 9/11. Al Qaeda and Bin Laden are in Afghanistan, not Iraq.

Hello! Iraq had nothing to do with 911. Just because your father figure Mr. Bush changed the word insurgent to terrorist doesn't make it OK. Don`t forget the terrorist were already here.

American soldiers are not killing terrorists in Iraq ...they are practicing terrorism there ... AFTER ALL ..why are they in Iraq?
As for the congress voting to war ....you know all congressmen are businessmen or oil-men ... they are also fooled by twisting words of that Biblical Bush.

The primary in Ct. showed that George Soros and the far left control the Democrat party.
Soros is in the process of spending millions in Europe on Anti-American campaign.
Keeping America and the European people divided on their political agenda's makes it possible for someone to maintain in control of trade and commerce .
Look at what corporations benefit from the division in America and Europe .

Um, have we forgotton who the real terrorist is? Osama ring any bells? Last time I checked, he was in Pakistan/Afghanistan, not Iraq.
Or is the Iraq war more important than finding the man who murdered 3000 Americans?
We need to get our priorities straight.

We're killing terrorists that we have created from being there. There are more terrorists in Syria, Saudia Arabia, and Pakistan but we aren't there.
Get over it we are going to dissent and protest probably for a while.

You know, the rest of the world (where I live) is still wondering about all the little mistakes. Like the WMD...oops just a slight error.
Yes, you are going to be there for a while and, if you are old enough to know about Vietnam, you will know how this war will turn out.
