The government does not cause people to be unemployed directly. They make an environment that is either beneficial or non for business. The business' hire and or fire the people. You are right they are making the environment very difficult for small business with confiscatory taxes and regulations that make it tough to run a business.
Keep the bare minimums protecting worker safety and let the rest go. Get the government out of business and business would do just fine. Government has failed at everything they have ever tried to complete from the big dig to the great society. Why does it think it can do anything else?

There are many people unemployed because they don't want to work. I think that's who the government is blaming. I know that's who I blame.

I cant recall the govt. blaming the unemployed when they [i assume you meant the govt.] are in trouble. Unemployment is the result of, not the cause of, economic problems. unemployment can stem from many sources in the market economy, not all of which are determined or solvable by govt.. If the govt blamed the unemployed for economic downtrurns it would certainly be ridiculous, but as I say I cant recall such assignment of blame.

The government doesn't MAKE anyone unemployed. The government doesn't make jobs, wealthy people do. The government taxes wealthy people so it can pay for things but the more it taxes the wealthy the less people the wealthy can afford to hire. Its a matter of balance.

That is how the government is; they throw the rocks and hide their hand so people would think that they are innocent when they really aren't. They always find ways to show their so called innocence.

because you cant get a job without training, but you cant get the training without a job. about time they realised that and stopped only offering training and apprentice jobs to school leavers for pissy wages because they dont want to train older people like me who are 24 and want to train for a decent job!!
