Most of them dont come from your neighborhoods, or I should say are not from wealthy families, nor would you even consider them equals if they were not in uniform and working at safeway. What makes them so honorable? That the Armed forces is the only sure job you can get, That rich kids opt out and go for college ? Why so two faced? They fight for a country that regards them as spicks, ******, kyches, wops, chinks, white trash, etc.

Yet we are fire and brimstone over bashing the troops, but until they put on that uniform they were nothing to anybody outside of their neighborhoods and when they come home they will still get labeled. Why do wars feel like football games?

did any of that rant make sense?

and dont come at me with that miltary crap. I did more in the six years inthe Navy than most of you miltary boys will do in your life.

I was one of 4 Black Grad's at BUD/S 93' along with my ace Xaemiejiel
retired a Chief Petty Officer (E-7)

I'm really not sure what answer you're looking for here. Personally, I don't look down on anyone. I'm too close to being white trash myself to do that (lol). But-
What makes them so honorable?

The fact that they set aside their lives, and put themselves in harm's way for their country and the people in it.

Thank you for serving. I never have, but I have nothing but respect for those who do.

What a jerk. You would think if you were in the military you wouldn't look down on people the way you do. What makes you so dang important anyway. Some people in the military have had a hard childhood but a lot are just normal people who want to do something better for themselves. I have met all walks of life over the years, rich, poor, middle class, and military brats who joined the military like their parents. Regardless, the military and their families sacrifice a lot for this country. What rights would you or anyone else have if they were not fighting for them.

I would like to know why, when there is piece everyone bashes the military but the first time there is a conflict they are the first people everyone looks to.

What you said was racist, what makes you so high and mighty?

It seems you have a very negative outlook on life. I spent many years in the Army, until an accident forced my retirement; (82d ABN). As a white man, I fell in love with a Korean woman, a year my senior... but her parents insisted that 'good Korean girls only date good Korean boys'... should I hold all Koreans in contempt? No! I did take that hard, becuase I we where really in love, but it was not meant to be... Then again, you remind me of my oldest sister, who is in her late 40's, and still crying, and blaming my parents for all her screw-ups! Erase the hate, man! It's all in your head!!! We don't honor the nobodies of the world, because they are nobodies... do you suggest that we honor every person in the nation? Or only those who volunteer, to go into harms way? I vote for the latter. As far as only the poor going into the military, I too am an example (hey, my parents did the best they could, and I had a great life as a child), I wanted to get out of a small manufacturing town, and I did... was I trash (as you so negatively put it), no! But racists who sound a hell of a lot like you are!

What is you did in the navy? You ever go to war. You ever see your friend mangled on the floor or a Humvee. Have you ever even pointed a weapon at anyone? How about seeing your buddies cry because he just shrapnel in the leg or your Lt's head in three different pieces. People respect us because we stand up and say "I will". I'm not from a poor redneck family. I had many options, but i choose the military because its in my blood, same with my brother. Why don't you think before you talk. All you people act the same, take that comment how you want. Love "A Military Boy"

I honor and respect every person that has served in the military because they have chosen to put aside their own lives to protect our country. And there are a lot of times they have to do things that they don't completely agree with. Do you think every soldier in Iraq thinks they should be there. NO!!!! but they go without question. Not everyone is racist either. I will admit i have problems with people of other races at times. But it's got nothing to do with their race. IT'S the ATTITUDE they have. I hate when people think that just because they are black that the white people owe them something. You have the right to decide your own life. So get off it.

If you are not hanging wit the homies in the hood, selling drugs, being a baby-daddy wit 10 different women, joining gangs and robbing 7 elevens and you are indeed serving your country then:
I applaud you, respect you, are sincerely grateful to you, and you could be my friend.

If you lead a good life WHY WOULDN'T I like you? And NO - I do not like da boys in da hood. I have nothing against your RACE - I do, however, have much against the way that some of your race decide to live their lives.
Don't you?

What are you talking about? I know I don't tend to look down on people from lower incomes, or color. Maybe I'm not catching your drift. I did serve. Many people that go into the military have other choices than military service.

Are you saying we should send everyone to school for free? I don't get it.

Email me I don't get it.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.
Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, 'ow's yer soul?"
But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll,
The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
O it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll.

You can see how much thins change when you risk your life, and give away four years of it, to defend what a bunch of politicians want you to defend and without asking question, those guys should be honored, one day they will fight for us, not today, for someday
