This portion of an article in the Times Leader, a Northeastern Pennsylvania newspaper is concerning the ordinance in Hazelton which is gaining national publicity,& support.
“It was a little bit of everything,” Yannuzzi said. “It was the type of immigrant we were getting. All of a sudden, it turned into criminals and vicious crimes. The last killing was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Yannuzzi was referring to the May 10 shooting death of Derek Kichline. Two illegal immigrants – Joan Romero and Pedro Cabrera – have been charged in the killing. Graham said Barletta proposed the ordinance “because he wanted to have a way to deal with the lawlessness that was burgeoning through the city. And it just seemed to me that he found the right answer.”

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of this or your opinions are welcome

What do you think about it? Should the government crack down on drunken behaviour, since it causes people to do a lot of things they wouldn't do if they were sober?
I live in a state where it is now illegal to serve alcohol to people who are drunk or pregnant.
It's a good idea. We need people with more compassion and wisdom than others to protect the masses from themselves.
Getting drunk has NEVER solved any problems - if anything it makes them worse.
If I was in political power I'd impose a three strikes fine of $100,000 for drunkeness followed by minimum 10 years jail if the guilty parties are too stupid to learn.

My second visit took me south of Mademrose, far enough to shoot my way out because of my dumb friend thinking he could make eyes at a Mexican girl! I grew up in Cali and have seen all I want of Mexico! I'm still technically married, but there is a 5 yr order of protection(complete stay away) and we are hoping to file for a divorce here, but I found out he was in jail the past week and his mother will not tell me for what, is it possible I can find out? even if there's an order of protection? I want to know for family court, we have 1 child together. He got a class E Felony last August, the judge said 1 more f*** up and he's looking at prison time, but that was a yr ago, I'm assuming this time it's bad also, since she won't tell me what the charge is, so is he also looking at prison time because of what the judge said? The mother in law said he told her it looked like it was bad, she said he could be in there till his daughter is 18, although she always thinks the worst. So can I find out the charge even though there is an order of protection and w/ what the judge said 1 yr ago, do you thinkl he's looking @ prison?

I'm sick of getting sick from a bunch of uneducated people who can not think on their own and must re-lie on others to do all the leg work. All they have to say and do is, it's our land. Do they still have to carry that cross. . Mexican only want to step in after all the hard work is done and proclaim we did it all, it's ours,. You'd think after 100 years if their claims were valid they would of done something within this time zone not long after all the war the work has been done. It's easier to cash in with the press, here's a set of rules to enlighten all Americans it's our land not yours. To bad they want say it's our military we now will fight the war on terrorists instead of sitting thet sit back with a bottle of tequila fighting and drinking the war on terrorists drink by drink but don't count on them to do their part.
Because there is someone who has to be doing somthing to evertbody. Until you give up everything you worked you for you are a racist. Ever since this new wave of Mexicans arrived they want fase easy money. They will march day and night suggesting America they steal Mexico lands yet not one Mex has stood up and said anthing about the human rights absue which take place in Mexico even addressedd what isw ongoimg problems within the counytry it's self. I don't know if any have any of these mexicans have a sense of right or wrong what do you of annnnnnnnnnn you with smily access it as part of a better ;life.
