Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. Everything Hezbollah does is directed at one goal. The destruction of Israel.

It's hard to run an effective militia when there is no sanitation, billeting, electricity or medical facilities. You need training facilities for the new recruits as well as administrative offices to handle everything from rocket and ammo requisitions to station assignments.

Why does Hezbollah strategically place their offices in populated areas? Why does Hezbollah allow the public to use Hezbollah facilities?

The western countries are seen to be incapable of dealing with the horror's of war. The western countries lack the resolve to do anything. The public will elect a different government if they are sickened enough by the images. Don't think so? Look what happened in Spain, that is claimed as a major victory by many extremist groups. As well as a first step to returning the caliphate to those lands.

Don't think propaganda is the first weapon of Hezbollah? I saw the cutest clip on Al Jazeera. A Hezbollah funded school with all their kids dutifully reciting the days lesson and each was wearing a martyrdom vest. That's right, they were chanting "Death to Israel" and yes a "martyrdom vest" is what is worn by a suicide bomber. I found it quite touching and it must help with recruiting.

It's nice to know that understanding is only a generation away.

Whenever I read questions from people like you, filled with so much fear and anger, I wonder if you had the opportunity to go to school and educate yourself a bit or if you just live like a cave-man (with a TV).

Not the Hezbollah or any terrorist organization, not even politicians like Bush or Blair will be the world's demise. It will be people like you. From the beginning of it's development Israel has put a unmatched show of state terrorism and managed to escape all accountabilty. Israel cannot exist in peace as long as it's not letting it's neighbors live with dignity. They need to recognise that all human lives are worth preserving and are sacred. People support Hezbollah because it provides things for them that the government doesn't. It's like the same as when people join gangs, they join to get money and things that they couldn't get otherwise. Hezbollah provides the electricity and education and other amenities that people are not getting from the government, so they support them in exchange for the benefits. It's almost like an act of survival.

I agree with your assessment, and to (FF) I would say 1968 protecting themselves form terrorists trying to root them out. Yesser Arafat was a terrorists and a thief that pocketed millions of dollars sent to help he Palestinians. 1988 trying to stop Arafat and his terrorists group Hamas. Hezbollah is just another terrorists group that grew up with the brainwashing of their children. Israelis are trapped by their history by being almost annihilated during WW 2 and they are trying to stop that from happening again, that is why they are traped by their history.
